Stan Krolick grew up on a dairy farm in Arcade before becoming a welder and construction worker. A construction accident in 1990 left him with a badly injured back, but opened the door to a future in barbeque. He founded Krolick's BBQ as a way of helping raise funds for neighbors in his ravaged community after Arcade was devastated by flood waters in the late 90's.
Nowadays, we've grown to over 15 employees. Folks from all over bring their family and friends for a picnic at our roadside stand, and we offer catering for parties and events. Of course, fundraising is still one of the most important parts of our business, helping churches, schools, teams, and organizations raise money.

Call Krolick's to set up a barbecue fundraiser for your church, school, team, or organization! Krolick's will also give you fundraising tips to make your event a success! A count for how many dinners to plan for is needed 6 days prior to function. Krolicks can assist you with this number based on your advertising, location, other possible activities in conjunction with your event, and/or presale totals.
We used Krolick's Barbeque for a fish fry as a fundraiser for our school. In comparing notes in the days following the fish fry, several of the staff commented, That wasn't just a good fish fry. That was the best fish fry I've ever had. We can't wait for his return in a few weeks for another fish fry.
Please note: Delivery requires a 50 dinner or$500 minimum order not including delivery charges or sales tax. We'll bring pre-cooked, ready-to-serve food to your location, or you can schedule a pickup. It'll be packed up to keep it nice and hot, and we'll show you how to best serve it. We'll calculate the Delivery Charge from Krolick's Location, which is 12132 Rt 16 Yorkshire, NY 14173.

My personal rule of thumb: while driving when I see smoke and smell delicious BBQ, I stop and try it. Very rarely do these little roadside places let you down.
This is my favorite BBQ place in the WNY area. Great chicken and ribs and sides. Perhaps some day I will try the other options, but the chicken / ribs are always too good for me to turn down.
It's a great casual environment - all picnic tables and completely outside with lots of shade and space. Great to stop or to take home (still tastes great after the hour plus ride).

After driving past dozens of times, I finally decided to stop in today and give it a try. I wanted to get a good representative sampling so I ordered the Ribs and Chicken Dinner. My two sides were baked beans and macaroni and cheese.
I've had BBQ all over the U.S. -- Kansas City, Texas, North Carolina, Memphis, and many points in between. My overall impression is that this was just not very good BBQ. The ribs were bland and chewy and the sauce was very plain and nondescript. The chicken was completely devoid of sauce and was dry and flavorless. The baked beans tasted as if they were straight out

Got their fish fry done as a fundraiser tonight and was very disappointed. Not your typical buffalo fish fry and taste was underwhelming. Seemed like they got a box of pre-frozen pieces of fish and just heated… them up in the fryer. If you like boxed frozen fish then this is for you. If you're looking for a freshly made fish fry, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Deciding to take a ride on the only good weather spring day, we headed for Letchworth. I then realized we were more than half way to Krolick's which in past years has catered our fire department bbq's in Chili. We got two chicken dinners with salt potatoes and slaw and transported them home for a reheated dinner. They are surely the best tasting chickens in Western NY and I hope their catering business resumes soon.

Decided this past Sunday, to take a ride to get some BBQ chicken, chicken fingers and ribs and support this local business during COVID 19. The chicken & rib dinner with two sides was flavorful in seasoning and taste better then Chiavetta's. The ribs sadly didn't make the cut for the review; reason behind 4 star review, the ribs didn't have a enough meat, lacked in flavor and were a little fatty in texture. Chicken fingers were large portion, crispy and full of sizzling flavor with a side of blue cheese. Staff was friendly and helpful when the order was placed for pickup

We happened on this place via google. We were in the area and looked up BBQ places.
We were surprised to see it was a trailer! But with a great big BBQ pit!
The menu isn't extensive but offers a lot: burgers, chicken, ribs, pulled pork. We ordered a combo with chicken and pulled pork and it was tasty! Was a little pricey at $13: was maybe a quarter chicken and 2 ribs. Next time I'll try the pulled pork sandwich as portion was huge for much less $ than the combo.
Definitely worth a try if you're in the area!

READ....READ......READ.......First, I want to say the owner was very friendly; however, it is more important to me to have good food, and that is why I am giving Krolick's one star. I recommended to my parents that we bring my entire family here because I had heard the advertisement on WBEN. When we pulled up, there was a trailor with picnic tables, and I thought.....okay.....this will be an adventure, and I was quite excited. We all ordered the fish fry. We were told that they were in the GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS for selling the most fish fries. It was such a disappointment. The
