Put a flat TV box out with recycling and filled it up with flat broken down cardboard and they didn't pick it up. Second time it has happen within 2 months of starting to use their service. Seems like if its too big or not exactly to their liking they just leave it and make it your problem. Phone line doesn't work, call and get disconnected constantly.

Also I would like to thank Opdenaker for the holiday post cards that you put out with the men's names on it. I think that is a wonderful idea and kudos to whoever came up with the idea ☺️

Terrible customer experience. We used their residential trash service and everything was fine for several years. Suddenly they claimed my bin was too heavy and wouldn't pick it up. Then they claimed that I had construction debris in the bin so we needed to pay an additional fee to have it picked up. Nowhere on their website, in any previous conversations or any paperwork do they state this. When I asked to speak to a manager, they refused to get on the line with me. In my opinion they got lazy and decided to try to rip me off. Customer service obviously isn't a high priority. Do NOT recommend using

Called and ordered a dumpster a week ahead of time, called back later during the week to confirm delivery. Scheduled contractors to clean out the properly at a cost of 500 dollars per day. The morning of the clean out the contractor showed up, but the dumpster did not. I still had to pay the contractor for the day. Finally got a hold of someone the next morning and was told they were sorry and trying to get a hold of a driver to drop one off. After waiting 2 hours I called back and they still didn't get a hold of a driver. Everyone has a cell phone these days so that was a lie. Canceled the order

Inconsistent recycling pick up. Too often I come home to an uncollected recycling bin and then I need to take it to a recycling place myself when I am paying to have it picked up curbside. AND if this is not bad enough one can never get a hold of a customer service rep when one calls their phone number. AND when I leave a message and phone number to call me back there is never follow-up so I am left to conclude that service is certainly not a top priority with them.

Same problem that Ryan G describes above. Bill quarterly, said I missed a bill from 2017 (this is 2019) and even though I had been paying for the past year, never sent a bill about the 2017 issue. Put a "hold" on my account the week after Christmas (but the trashmen certainly took their Xmas money we left them) and never informed me.
Spoke to a rep, was to call me back. A week later, no call. Called again, rude gentleman, got so worked up just paid them.
I had two cans - that I paid extra for the past 3 years. After complaining about the trash not getting picked up, someone came on my property

We get all of our dumpsters from Opdenaker, and never once had an issue with weight, delivery or service. The staff inside the office is polite and easy to work with. The drivers place the dumpster exactly where they need to be with little direction, and their availability is beyond accommodating. Top notch service and the only way we ever use a different dumpster company is if we're out of their delivery range.

They bill quarterly and They never sent a bill and never called. Missed that one payment, they sent me to collections for 5x what i owed. and came and took their trash cans back. You would think a company that bills quarterly would have an autopay system. They are like dramatic little girls with this. I guess customer retention isn't high on their list of priorities... what a joke
And their dumpster prices are the highest in the area and takes 2 weeks to be dropped off. Find somewhere else to rent from.

On Tuesday of this week I got stuck on a call and was not able to roll our trash bin out to the street before the Opdenaker truck came through our neighborhood. We had a pretty full trash bin that needed to be emptied so I was angry with myself that I had missed their pickup. Later that day I went out to pick up my newspaper and noticed that it was sitting on top of our trash bin, which was in its usual place next to our garage.
