Mulch Works Recycling, Inc. is a full service company offering the finest products in mulch, soil, leaf compost, stone and sand to both the residential and commercial community. We can provide you with the guidance to select which product will best suit your needs, how much product you will need for your project and quote you a competitive price with an accurate delivery time.
No, our dye will not harm your children, pets, or plants for that matter. Our colorants are water-based instead of the more harmful solvent-based coatings used in other industries. We strive to use products that are effective, but safe for your family and home. Our Colorant manufacturer submitted the dye that we use to an independent, accredited laboratory for testing.
We take everything from brush to trees, down to the soil, and even the leaves. We do not accept any pressure treated material such as fencing, decking material, or swing sets. In order for us to supply you with the premium mulch you are used to we must only accept natural and organic woods. After you drop off your yard waste, we separate the material, begin the grinding process, let it age, then make our finished products.
For one, we fabricate all of our mulch at our facility. Which means we know exactly what goes into it. We only use the finest local natural wood materials. We do not use wooden pallets! Pallet mulch does not break down properly and may contain harsh chemicals that are not healthy for your shrubs and small trees.
Mulch Works offers Delaware County, Chester County, & Surrounding Areas Screened Top Soil, Leaf Compost, and Fill Dirt. Our 1/2 inch screened top soil is rich in nutrients and mixed with leaf compost for a healthy growing environment. It's great for growing grass seed, installing it underneath sod, or for just plain old planting!

I wanted to make Rock Flowers out of river rocks and a landscaper suggested I call Mulch Works. I am so happy that I did! Jesse was so nice when I called to ask about the rocks. He took me to a huge pile of various shapes, gave me bags and a bucket of water and said to just let him know when I'm done. I more than halfway filled a large bag and he only charged me $5. I went home and washed them, made exactly what I wanted and decided I had to make more. I went back the next day for two more bags. Who knew that a huge pile of dirty rocks could make something so cool and someone so happy! Thank you

I have used Mulch Works Recycling a number of times and have been very happy with their service. The one time I had a problem, there was no excuses, just how could the problem be fixed to my satisfaction. BUT the reason I am writing this review, which is months overdue, is because my last experience with Mulch Works was EXCEPTIONAL. My delivery of mulch, sand and stone was scheduled to arrive the day before a forecast of torrential rain. Mulch Works called to ask if I would like to reschedule my delivery. We used Mulch Works for the first time this season, and they were really nice to work with. We had an issue with our yard, and explained that we had very limited time to get to work on the property. They came right out to consult with us, and made sure we were happy with their product. Excellent customer service. Will definitely call them again in the future.
