Never judge a book by its cover. As a visitor, I was treated horribly by the program director and another staff..they were not professional at all..they were obnoxious bullies! I know how to handle myself, but I experienced an absolute violation of my civil rights and dignity for no good reason. They were incredibly mean spirited people who lacked professional etiquette! My greatest concern is for the clients/residents. If they treated me so badly, how do they treat the poor vulnerable people who live there full time? Some cannot speak for themselves. When Mom was diagnosed with acute leukemia we knew she only had a short time left and we wanted her to be as comfortable, and well cared for, as possible. At Brentwood we found just that...and more. The staff went above and beyond in taking care of Mom. No matter the time of day, nor day of the week, they made Mom feel like she was the only one being cared for and it brought her some peace. For our family, a very difficult time was made easier with the care and compassion shown by the Brentwood team. First class in attitude. First class in compassion. Thank you for caring.

I am a senior who looked at other options before choosing to move to Brentwood by the Bay over a year ago. I couldn't be happier. I found safety, security and fun in a beautiful place.I look at the ocean every morning when I wake up. I have met wonderful people and made new friends. My nephew helped me make the decision and he is happy too! I can't say enough good things. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly and I get the best care I could hope for. We are always busy and enjoy each day. I have recommended this place to many of my friends.

Brentwood Assisted Living was a beautiful, clean, warm, inviting and caring environment for my grandmother to spend the last year of her life. All the staff from the maintenance, dining services, nursing, activities staff and administrative staff were always willing to lend a helping hand, support the extended family and most importantly put a smile on my grandmother’s face. They were her second family and we can’t thank them enough!! I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this assisted living facility. Thank you Brentwood!

What a breath of fresh air...kind, compassionate, helpful and caring..
My mother moved into this extremely well run facility. From Cheryl, Stephaine, Maureen and the entire staff...they do everything in their power to make it a wonderful place to live, rooms are cleaned daily, my mother is always clean and well fed, her laundry gets done but the best part the staff is so kind to her and our family...my mom had to go to the hospital the staff washed her and changed her before she went....the care is above and beyond...their employees are from the cream of the crop...knowledgeable and caring...so

The first time I walked into this lovely community, I felt a sense of warmth and compassion, from the staff who were at the front office area. I was visiting a resident, who recently moved in. A breath taking view of the water, comfortable furniture, and tastefully decorated, and most important, a caring staff! Cheryl Kingma is one of the best Administrators , and she truly cares about the residents.
