They are complimentary with a paid Registration Fee. Our ballet curriculum will focus on pure classical ballet. Our select group of teachers have professional performance company experiences. Services
There are two types of classes at our studio; Academy and Competition Team. Both categories are explained in detail below. Once you have determined the type of classes you are interested in, you can then select the class schedule to find the class that is right for you! Tiny's Summer Dance Camp is a three-day dance experience for dancers ages 3-7 years old. It is so much fun! Each day has a special theme, so be sure to dress the part! Participants rotate through three stations each day for dance choreography, crafting, and tumbling. Treats and prizes are also provided.
Classes range from 45 minutes to 1 hour once per week depending on age. Placement ages 3-18 yrs. Recommended for the dancer that has mastered and/or recognizes beginning skills. Classes range from 1 hour to 90 minutes, once per week depending on age. Recommended for dancers who have mastered beginning skills.
At Utah Dance Academy, our Classical Ballet Program is made possible by The Barbara Barrington Jones Family Foundation! Dancers will be taught classical ballet in a professional atmosphere. Dress code is strictly enforced. Instructors are professionally trained and provide skilled instruction. Dancers progress up to pointe level dancing.
Our tumbling classes cover basic muscle building and body control exercises like back bends, hand stands, and forward rolls. As skill advances students will learn back and front walkovers, back and front handsprings, aerials, back tucks, and layouts. We have multiple instructors in each class to allow for personalized attention and skill building.

Disorganized, lots of excuses, doesn't seem to have a lot of follow through with things promised. You pay to tryout, they require you to commit to the team taking summer classes (disorganized as far as not knowing what class they were going to have them in for these "required classes")
Throughout the year they randomly add more girls on the team that didnt pay for tryouts nor did they do summer classes like the rest of the team. Their coach always had her daughter in class, that seemed to distract the coach from coaching the team fairly and to 100%.

My daughters danced at Utah Dance Academy for years before I started teaching at the studio. I loved it then and I love it EVEN MORE now! Kathy has a heart of gold. Her loving and generous spirit is what makes UDA more than just a dance studio. It is a home away from home for so many girls. The new beautiful studio was built specifically to make each dancer who walked through the doors feel special, safe, and cherished. I have heard so many people express that the feeling inside the Utah Dance Academy studio is unique to anywhere else!

Utah Dance Academy is a wonderful place to take dance lessons. My daughter has been challenged in a positive manner. Each year she significantly improves. The technique and instruction is spot on. The environment is friendly, and positive, yet they teach each dancer to work hard. My daughter has improved in her confidence, work ethic, and team and solo skills. Every dancer feels important at UDA.

Utah Dance Academy is the BEST studio ever!!!!! They have the most wonderful, dedicated, loving teachers ever and they make sure that every girl is loved !! They take care of my dance education as their first priority. Every girl is taken so very good care of and they are the nicest teachers ever ! They have taught me to be kind, hardworking, selfless and so many more things! I have been dancing here for 6 years and i have loved every min of it !

We love Utah Dance Academy. The teachers are so friendly and have my daughter feeling so loved. The new studio is amazing and so gorgeous! It has every dancer feeling like a princess when they walk through the doors. Kathy the owner is the nicest person we have ever met! She makes each dancer feel so loved and special. My daughter has learned so much in the few months of being here and is loving dance more and more! We love it here! We will never be going anywhere else. Thank you, Utah Dance Academy :)
