Beautiful facility. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a large lobby with comfy furniture and grand piano in the common areas. There are always fresh flowers and seasonal décor. There is a coffee bar area where you can grab a cup of coffee, flavored water, and baked cookies. The gardens and pool area are landscaped nicely with walking paths. There are no bad odors!
There are several apartment layouts to choose from - from studio to large 3 bedrooms with balconies. The room was a little outdated, but I could tell that they were remodeling rooms and apartments.
Lots of amenities

It is a beautiful place to live but working there was totally different. I was so disappointed on how I was treated. Hopefully the nurse that was there when I worked there is gone. She had a terrible drinking problem and would call me at work drunk to discuss residents and didn't remember the next day. I was pretty much bullied by the RN and Med tech. I told my immediate supervisor but all she did was gave me information against the nurse to use as I wish but I couldn't do it. I just gave my notice. All I can say is that RN should of never been administering medications to residents in the memory

I worked here as a server. Worst place to work at. Poor management. Executive Director Azis does not care about the employees. If you have an issue and mention it to upper management, nothing changes. I even brought up an issue in regards to the Executive Director Azis to corporate, had ZERO support from my manager and supervisor, and did not resolve the issue. This is definitely a "slave labor" job. ALWAYS short staffed. This is neglecting the senior residents by not having enough employees. I felt a huge weight off my shoulders once I left this job after two years of working here. I did not realize

Such a horrible place, management treats staff so bad, even the residents and families notice the issues behind the 'scenes'. Food is horrible, the Chef doesn't care about residents needs, they allow vegans/ special dietary need residents to move in and the chef doesn't work with them to help them get what's best for their lifestyle until he's getting an earful by a family member-but even then he does not care. Corporate doesn't answer phone calls, or get back to you even after leaving multiple voice mails expressing your concerns.

This place looks great and for the price you're paying - it better be! However, be careful if you have a family member in memory care who will not remember why they fell. This place is pretty terrible. I have spoken to people who have worked here and they tell me that my story of what happened to my father is not uncommon. Just because you are paying a lot doesn't mean they will take care of your loved one like they say they will. Steer clear at all costs.

I can't wait until my family member moves out of Oakmont which will be soon.
Poor care and with the expensive cost what exactly included in that because it's not personal care.
Ants all over in room I made four separate complaints regarding ants still nothing done.
Sat at dinner table for 25minutes with family member to finally get water at our table. Staff at dinner looked rushed a not enough staff or less talking to each other especially across the whole room.
My list goes on and on...if your family member is completely independent good place, if they need even their bed turned down be prepared

Been visiting a family friend here.
This place is located in Chino Hills. I think when I retire I would want to retire here. The dining room is like a restaurant. You can order anything you want. The workers check in on you from time to time but definitely give you your space. Employees are friendly. The only thing is, I believe it's on the expensive side. Definitely worth looking into.
