Services
Our Double Queen Kitchenette provides 2 queen size beds with a kitchenette to assist in all of your meal preparation. A refrigerator, cook top and dishes are provided to assist you in preparing and serving food. The room allows you to prepare your food just the way you like it! Pets are NOT allowed in.
Relax in this comfortable non-smoking guest room with a queen bed. Enjoy the 100+ channels on the 42 HD flat screen. A spacious desk with ample lighting is provided, along with a micro-fridge. This is a perfect room to rest and relax after a day of exploring the beautiful Arcadia Valley attractions, or a place to unwind after a long day of business.
Our non-smoking family suite combines a kitchenette room with a generous double queen room, sleeping up to 8 people. These suites come with two bath areas, 2 micro-fridge units, and two 42 HD Flat Screen TVs. These suites are designed for large families that are traveling together. Our attention to detail provides plenty of space for the whole family to relax after a full day of exploring the beautiful Arcadia Valley Region.
Our finest accommodations include a full complete kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and a dining table. Our Executive Suite has a generous living room area, including a large desk with high speed WIFI and broadband access. A door separates the bedroom, allowing access for business meetings in the spacious living room.
In May, the US Fish and Wildlife Service staff will lead guided hikes to the top of Pilot Knob Mountain. Experience one of the best views in the Ozarks. Hikers will experience steep terrain, loose rock and uneven footing. Participants will need to be physically able. Shuttle service is available from Shepherd Mountain Inn.

Mom.and pop hotel, clean room. Nice breakfast every AM, sausage, eggs, biscuits, waffles, pastries. Teas, coffee, juice. Friendly, help. Cindy and Tim the owners very nice. Several dogs there, did not know they don't take cats. We keep our tiny girls litter clean, she doesn't scratch, older. I honestly thought cats allowed. I paid a hefty fine as I was told the housekeepers saw her, or in the window. I wasn't told til check out. I felt like Shepherd Mountain Inn, was hurt by not addressing this with me. We stayed at Hilton home 2 suites with modern rooms big bed , they allow both species. I will

This Inn is a perfect get a way in a very secluded and rustic part of Ironton, MO. They do allow dogs at an extra cost but it's worth it I think it's only $20 extra. The creek in the back is beautiful and great place for the dog to swim in. Johnson Shut Inns is very close by and we go there whenever we come here and they have a separate area for the dogs to play and swim. They have a Continential breakfast in the morning for free. There is a a great BBQ within walking distance right next to the Inn and have fantastic Pulled Pork, Chicken, Beef with great portions. Definitely recommend

Stayed here in March 2017 and again in October. The folks at check-in have always been very nice and accommodating. They WANT your stay to be enjoyable. The owners have kept up with the times. The rooms I've stayed in have all been very nicely modernized. For such a small town, this is a super nice Inn. I think the rates are very reasonable.
When visiting this area, this will become your "go to" place to stay.

We had a decent stay at Shepherd Mtn Inn. The staff was friendly but a little disappointed to learn upon arrival that our room was changed due to over booking... ( You guys should really call and give a heads up!) So we went without the kitchenette we paid extra for and werent even credited for the price difference which is a little irritating to find out after the fact. The rooms were nice and clean but had a slight mildew smell. The backside was real peaceful and quiet, ask for it if at all possible.

I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing our room was. We got the two bedroom suite with a jacuzzi tub. The tub was a little small but it was nice and I defiantly used it. The bed was a little hard but the rooms had two air conditioners and it was beautiful. Also, Baylee's BBQ and seafood was right next to us for an easy walk and some Wei it drink option. The hotel staff was super nice and accommodating. The room was exceptional in cleanliness. Worth the extra bucks to stay there versus the other places around town. The fact that it had a full kitchen was nice too when we decided to make
