The room was super clean which we liked but the a/c wasn't working as good as we wanted for it to be on high..but still not bad.. the main reason for this place not getting 5 stars is... My cousin is here visiting from out of town and her kids were going to come visit for a few hours and swim and they told us they couldn't swim unless they were actual guests staying the night..which is kind of ridiculous... I understand it's a liability..sure wish some people didn't ruin it for the rest of us... But the couple at the front were super nice and and over all it is

I highly recommend staying at this place if you're in this area. The owners Tim and Cindy were very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the room had an inviting and relaxing atmosphere. The pool was clean and there is a nice mix of tables with chairs or loungers. The pool had a depth of 11 ft which was great. The WiFi in the room was lightening fast and there was a lot of channels offered. Nothing bad to say. Thank you!

We were very pleasantly surprised by the Fort Davidson Hotel. The room was very clean, the beds were firm, the furnishings were attractive. The location is right across from Fort Davidson, and walking distance to several local restaurants. We were only there for one night as we passed through the area but were happy with our choice of hotel.

Very clean, very nice, very neat, reasonable rates, food and drink in walking distance. A cool stream out back where families were wading and swimming. Motorcycle friendly. This is the place to stop in Ironton and the surrounding area. Stay there to support a well run, independent business. How many are left?

From the outside you can tell that this is an older hotel- and it is. I would most likely have driven right past. But the insides have updated linens, they are CLEAN! SO CLEAN! I was really impressed. It's such a cute area. The owners are INCREDIBLY friendly and our stay was pleasant. It was quiet all night. I can be a bit of a hotel snob, I won't lie, so i was a little nervous and I was NOT disappointed.
There's a nice bar and grill right around the corner in Ironton and they told us about a place called the Rustler for breakfast that did NOT disappoint. I can't wait to stay

We are here before visiting the museum across the street. Our server was nice and the food was tasty. My hubby and daughter ordered the meatloaf with potatoes and green beans. The meatloaf tasted a bit sweet (which I like) and had green peppers in it (which I really like). I ordered a tropical chicken salad with poppy seed dressing. The dressing looked homemade and was yummy. The fruit was in season and was very sweet. It was the perfect lunch for a hot summer day. And of course, my son got the chicken fingers (he's only 8). Good place to eat for lunch, I would like to stop there again next

Very quiet, cozy, and scenic. The rooms are not huge, but have a home-y quality to them. It is located amongst beautiful rolling hills, which (while I was there) were covered in trees turning fall colors. The restaurant connected to the motel also has good home-cooked food at very low prices. Nothing gourmet, but a nice cheap solid meal. I also may be biased, as they had a "Cannon Burger" on the menu...
