I decided to become a Nutritionist to combine my love of food with a strong desire to help people overcome cancer and heart disease. My first husband, George, died of colon cancer at 39, and I saw firsthand how caring health professionals could make a dramatic difference in how well he tolerated treatment.

A: I am happy to provide you with a Superbill to submit to your insurance company. I do not bill insurance directly because I work with people all over the country, and the paperwork involved with that is prohibitive. Check with your insurance company so see if your policy covers nutrition counseling, and I will supply you with the appropriate paperwork.
