The shop was opened by our family and friends in 1968 -- just up the road to the coast not far from the countryside in Georgia.
In 2004, Brian and Christy came together with a rallying cry to keep it alive while making it our own in ways that are everything we are. What was true then is still true today: home is our favorite place to be! We have found that through life's challenges and joys home is always right in the middle of it.

A little more: you can say that flowers found Christy. And, not other way around! After a successful career utilizing her degree from University of Georgia's prestigious Grady School, a 50 year old family flower shop came to her unexpectedly. Her innate sense of story telling, honesty, authenticity, grace, and a bigger vision effortlessly translate into the magical world of flowers.
When garden design tablescapes started to steal the hearts of every interior decorator out there, a trend was born and it hasn't gone away over the last, at least ten years. Alright, maybe even, . Colonial House of Flowers is the premier flower shop in the State of Georgia. Christy’s work is impeccable and one of a kind. She creates show stopping pieces that are like no other. If you are looking for any floral arrangement then CHOF is where you need to go. I am always impressed with every piece CHOF creates!

On Nov 1 at 8pm ish I placed online order. I never expected my mom to call screaming for joy by the next morning! I live in Atlanta and I needed floral shop that could deliver quality flowers in a timely manner. I found it in colonial! The arrangement was lovely and looked exactly like the picture on the website. Price was very reasonable! Thanks for placing a smile on my moms face!

The success of the florist business is quality of the product, pricing, delivery and customer services. My experience and interaction with colonial on Valentine's Day was not good. The quality was good, little bit pricey, can't track delivery and customer services does not return phone call. Of course, they are busy on Valentine's Day and that is why they don't return phone calls?? Valentine's Day comes once a year. It is a very special day to many people. At the end, we almost miss our delivery which made me and my valentine very stressful. I don't think I will do

When looking for a florist for our destination wedding in Savannah, Georgia, I kept coming across Colonial House of Flowers on social media. I immediately asked if they were available on the day of our wedding and set up a meeting with Christy. This was the day I fell in love with this lady! She is AMAZING! We worked together to come up with concepts and a vision for the day. The day of the wedding, I was BLOWN AWAY. Christy and her team took our vision to a different level. Edit#2: I received an email from CHF after the phone call. It said that she apologizes for the issue and appears to recognize the issue was one of expectations versus reality; the online image vs. the delivered bouquet. I feel that CHF has more than made up for my issue through excellent customer service. I have adjusted my rating to four stars.
Edit: the very next day, CHF called and promised to deliver a half dozen roses to make up for the disappointment of this most recent experience. I appreciate the fast response and the concern for the recipient to be satisfied. I have adjusted my rating

Growing up in Statesboro, the Colonial House of Flowers has always been "Stateboro's Florist." It is a very magical place with a lot of history and family lore. I have so many memories there as a child... and, even more now.
The doors to this flower shop opened in 1968. And, been making deliveries ever since!
Though the old shop is near to my heart, the new shop next to East Georgia Regional Medical Center (the hospital) and Georgia Southern University is vibrant, beautiful, elegant and beautiful.
If I do say so, this is definitely the best florist in Statesboro - get well, sympathy, cemetary

I recently ordered a spring mix for a friend for her graduation. I could not have been more pleased with the service that was provided by the team at Colonial House. I also ordered a terrarium for my mother and soon plan to order one for myself. Overall I was very happy with the service and will be sending all of my business here.

The staff is extremely helpful and so friendly! Their arrangements are absolutely breathtaking. They can do anything you need them to do and will always do it with a smile on their face. I received flowers from them after getting into my sorority and they used my sororities flower and even matched the colors of my sorority! Brightened my day instantly. If you need flowers for anything, Colonial House of Flowers is THE place to go!

Such a wonderful shop- rich in history, excellent service and beautiful arrangements! The owners are always looking to add to the customer's experience- keeping up with the latest trends in floral arrangements and gifts of all sizes.
