Minnesota State Bar Association Board Certified Real Property Law Specialist - Fewer than 3% of all registered attorneys in Minnesota are certified specialists in their field. Nathans real estate practice involves a wide variety of commercial and residential real estate matters. He represents a broad spectrum of real estate clients including lenders, owners, investors, condominium associations, general contractors and developers.
Real estate disputes come about for a number of reasons. Perhaps there is a boundary dispute or there is a lien against a property that shouldnt be there. Maybe someone needs to place a lien against someone elses property, such as in the case of a mechanics lien where a party hasnt paid for construction services rendered.
There is a huge question some ask about homeowner associations: are they evil or are they angels? This question typically stems from those who have had poor experiences with these associations and condominium and townhouse associations are no exception. But the truth is that not all are bad. In fact, four out of five of these associations do well.
Foreclosure is a difficult matter for homeowners, banks, and lienholders. No one on either side of the matter wants the property to be foreclosed upon. However, foreclosure happens because money is owed. In the case of a mortgage foreclosure, it is because the bank is owed money. In the case of a lien foreclosure, it is because someone has had to take a lien against a persons property because of an unpaid bill.

We were referred to the Krogh Law Firm by our real estate agent when we ran into a title issue when attempting to sell my parents home. Nathan was straight forward in his analysis. His honest assessment led to a swift and accurate filing with Dakota County Probate Court regarding disposition of the property's title.
