Services
Jennifer L. Pradt has been a practicing criminal defense attorney for over 20 years. After graduating from Macalester College and William Mitchell College of Law, she clerked at Faegre & Benson in Minneapolis and in the Ramsey County District Courts. She has represented thousands of clients with both misdemeanors and felonies in her 15 years as a trial attorney for the 10th District of Minnesota.
When you're facing a DWI charge, you want the best possible defense. Attorney Jennifer Pradt has over 20 years of experience representing clients throughout Minnesota for DWI and other criminal charged. If you have been arrested for DWI, you were most likely given a field sobriety test, preliminary breath test or PBT, and then a breath, blood or urine test.
DWI is "Driving While Intoxicated, " which means that the driver's blood alcohol concentration (BAC) is over the legal limit of 0.08%. Because these charges are closely related, nearly all drunk drivers are charged with both DUI and DWI charges. You will not have to plead to two charges. Jail is possible, but it does not have to happen.
Given how important the test can be for your freedom, license and costs it's important that you understand their accuracy and as well as problems. Blood testing is the most accurate means of determining a person's level of alcohol concentration. 2017 Minnesota case law means a warrant is needed. Blood draws are analyzed using a gas chromatography.
The pain of a DWI arrest begins immediately. A weekend arrest can mean that you sit in a jail cell - unable to post bail - until Monday morning. Often the bail is not set, and you are just waiting for a hearing. An arrest during the work week can mean spending two or more days in jail before you get your first hearing with a judge.

I called for a consultation pretty early in the morning because she advertised 24 hours on google, however asked if she preferred I call back at a different time she didn't acknowledge my question and proceeded to ask me about my case. When I started to get into the story she snapped and said I would have to call her another time and abruptly hung up on me. Don't waste your time with her, not worth it.
Don't answer a call that you are unable to take and don't advertise 24 hours if you're not 24 hours.. So unprofessional.

Ms. Pradt has helped make going to court much less stressful than I was making it. She was nice, understanding, and she pushed her hardest to defend me in my case. Her diligence is definitely appreciated, and I can't thank her enough for her help.

I went to court thinking I didn’t need a lawyer or any type of help. Until watching the video at the beginning of the court advising about the consequences of not having one. When I applied, I got denied because I didn’t make enough money. Then she came to the rescue, professional, and made me feel much more confident about the my case. Hopefully, I and anyone that I know will not have to go to court. However, if anything, I know who to call.

I retained Jennifer as my sons attorney following a referral from a friend. Right from our first conversation, I knew I was hiring a professional who as a bonus, happened to have several years of experience with defending clients. Jennifer definitely knows her way around a courtroom and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone in need of a experienced and knowledgeable defense attorney.
