The staff here is very caring, but there is a lot of turn over. Unfortunately, they are unresponsive to my mother if she uses the pull cords in her room to request help. The food service is sorely lacking. The food is inadequate, and they don't pay attention to her likes, dislikes, and nutritional needs. I once spoke to management about this and food service greatly improved, but only temporarily.

A family member is a resident. Very nice caring staff. They care for a lot of residents the best they can with the demands on them. Food is not up to standards for taste or quality. Most meals are not nutritious. No awards there.
Great place to have valuables stolen from loved ones. Residents are doped early at night. Night staff were thieves. One even stole her shower chair. An office person stole her laptop on her last night on the job. Number one place for criminal abuse of the aged when it comes to thefts. All residents told me about staff stealing cash from them also.

My husband has lived at Brookdale DeSoto, for the past 3 years. If it had not been for the staff at Brookdale, I could not do the things that I am doing. I just moved from our large home into a guest house of a friend. It has taken the last month to accomplish this large task.. If I did have the confidence of your staff I could not have completed this task. It is also important for you to know how much my husbands general health has improved under the leadership of Joe Steliga. He has taken a personal interest in Ken. Both Ken and I count him as a friend and excellent administrator. Thank you for

My journey at Brookdale began 8 years ago. Hopefully it will continue as the wonderful, caring, loving staff makes this my home that I am very proud of. My dog, Duke, loves the courtyard, where we sit outside and
visit with our friends. God bless Brookdale and the many gracious people in Desoto and else where. Thank you, Lois and Duke
