Fantastic!!! The food is amazing and fresh.
Yesterday they catered my daughters baby shower and everyone raved about the food.
The ordering process and set up was very professional. We had less guests than expected. All of the remaining food was boxed up for our guests to take home with more left for us to continue to enjoy tonight.
They will definitely be my "go to" for any future events!

I highly recommend the Mexican Taco Caterer to anyone looking for a catering taco bar style service. Felix was on time courteous and professional. The food was deliciously prepared on site.
In addition to the quality service, Felix was COVID conscious, always wearing a mask and gloves during the time he spent with us.

GREAT TACOS and AMAZING SERVICE
We hired The Mexican Taco Catering for an event at a park and they were great with communication from quote to event. They provided all the necessary forms the park requested in a timely matter.
They showed up early and stayed the entire time and helped packed up left overs. Everyone enjoyed the food and we ordered enough for 30 people and all 50+ of our guest were full and enjoyed the food!

This was by far the best "taco man" I have ever ordered! First, I was very impressed with the modern semi-automated ordering process. This was very easy to do and the quoted packages are very affordable/reasonable priced! The tacos were very tasty and my guests really loved it. (Al Pastor flavor was the popular vote of the evening) Brandon, our designated caterer for the evening was a very friendly, efficient, and clean caterer! This experience was the best! We will use them again in the future!

First party, got a text (not even a call) 30 minutes before they were supposed to arrive saying their server called out and they didn't have anyone to cover. Good thing I had my phone on me. No answer initially from the number that texted me which left us scrambling for plan b. Eventually got back to us and gave me the options to cancel or opt for drop-off.
Second party the next day, ordered drop-off and they arrived missing the trays to keep the food warm. One would think they'd be extra attentive

I hired The Mexican Taco for my boyfriend's surprise birthday party. They were very easy to work with and accommodating. Showed up on time & tacos were ready to go when the party started. All the guests raved about the tacos & the churros! I brought containers for the leftovers, and glad I did... I got to enjoy The Mexican Taco the following day as well! HIGHLY RECOMMEND and would ABSOLUTELY hire them again for catering!

Catering was an hour late from when they were supposed to start serving. I ordered asada, al pastor and chicken. They forgot the chicken! I had guests that do not eat red meat so this was a big problem. They began to serve and 1/2 an hour into the service the taco man told me he was running out of meat. I had ordered service for 45 people and only had 30 people who actually attended the the party. The taco man was limiting my guests to 4 tacos a plate so there was no reason why he would be running out of meat only 1/2 an hour into the 2 hours that they were supposed to be there for. We are repeat customers, but the catering gets better every time! Customer service calls and emails were thorough and easy. Our server, Felix was the ultimate professional from start to finish. He even put up with our begging dogs and little kids running around the entire time. The food was absolutely perfect - guacamole and quesadillas a MUST. So good! The pico de gallo, veggies, salsas, zanahorias (pickled carrots), and all the fixings were the sublime addition to the perfectly seasoned and cooked meats. The fresh chips are mouth-watering, too!! Everything was perfect up to the day of the event. Missing items I was charged for and wasn't informed. So if I didn't point it out, they wouldn't have said anything. Dishonest.
I added the portobello mushrooms to the menu for my vegetarian guests. Where were the portobello mushrooms in that dish? Skimpy on that add on.
Chef wore no hairnet or gloves. He continued to touch his equipment and then proceeded to touch our raw foods and cooked foods. One of my guests even witnessed him put his hand

I honestly don't understand how this company has the reviews that it has. I booked them for my daughters birthday party yesterday and to say I was dissatisfied, wouldn't even be enough.

Amazing all the way around!! Food was delicious! Got the 24-30 person meal, served 30 & had plenty of left overs which they helped me pack up. We had carnitas, carne asada, chicken tacos with quesadillas. All the extras were fresh & very good. Not your basic boring rice either cooked with tomatoes & onions. Called to confirm day before event & to let me know they were on their way day of.

Hired The Mexican Taco Catering for an employee's baby shower and it was delicious Felix came exactly on time, set up everything super fast and got to work!
The tacos, quesadillas, tortilla chips, guac and salsas were all great! There were complimentary condiments that were also included in our package and all the employees really enjoyed it!
They also included a free jar of horchata which was a nice addition. Just wished it was a bit sweeter but can't complain.
I read about their breakfast catering and plan on using them for that for my future event when we are ready!

Great job for our 90th birthday party for gramma. Renee was very kind in scheduling and double-checking the order about a week before the event. We also received a call about 2 hours prior to our event to confirm order details, invoice, etc. Those confirmations we're very important to us and exemplify professionalism. The food was very good and our guests were quick to compliment them. One of the servers who came (a woman named Claudia) had a very warm and kind personality and was very professional.

Lost one star only for being slightly difficult to communicate, as I didn't always get a return call, or email. That made us get a little nervous as the date approached. It seems better to call them in the evenings. Just make sure to keep in touch so you stay comfortable with their communication, or just trust that they'll be there. I was happy with the pricing from this merchant. Where things went wrong was the guy was late, dressed unprofessionally for a real estate event and at the end the person serving stoll my $180 wireless radio that was playing music under the table of food. . Very disappointed with that. Food was good but don't trust them with personal items or timing..

Cons: They came out to cater 100 people with just two guys. Not very smart at all because we have a business to run and if our employees can't get their lunch in a timely manner we loose!
