Now that I've finally moved out, I can post this. This apartment has several good things.
1. The maintenance staff is quick to respond, friendly, and wonderful.
2. The view of the apartment is great.
3. Location is great.
4. The price of rent is great for a 2 bedroom.
Now on to the bad things that made my experience here give it a two star.
1. The communication is awful. When I first moved in, I paid my first month of rent via money order. I was told by the front desk that my first month of rent was covered (I moved in early July) only to get an angry email three days later that my rent was

Apartment was okay couple small defects (had broken slat, couple spots on ceiling wear paint head chipped off, piece of vinyl flooring in hallway peeling up, air conditioner quit working about a month after moved in.) That's my Commons did put in brand new AC unit and heating unit but took about 5 days to get installed. They did offer and provided us with a portable air conditioner unit to use an apartment until new one was installed but they didn't offer untill after we had already made reservations at a hotel because apartment was 78 degrees at 2pm and was only going to get hotter throughout

I enjoyed every minute of living at Wesmont Commons. The location offers wonderful views of the mountains right out the front door and makes the parks, restaurants, and entertainment of Asheville easily accessible at a very fair rental price. The staff was unfailingly professional and responsive. Hannah in particular deserves special praise for her personalized attention to detail and for going the extra mile to help me be happy in my apartment home. I have left Asheville for employment, but plan to return, and plan to return to Westmont Commons!

Ive lived here for 2+ yrs I will say the staff is amazing they are helpful, understanding an will always say hello to you if your paths cross, (Charles is the best person) the apartments inside are outdated the stoves cabinets dishwasher an countertops could use an upgrade. Parking is also a problem people will park on the sides making it a mess in the mornings an coming in people wont stop at the sign if they see you coming so you both are left backing up or down a hill to allow someone in or out. Alot of people seem to have a problem finding the actual trash door so when you are taking your tash

We have lived at the Westmont Commons apartments for a year when this review is written. I am only giving this review a 2 star rating because the view is pretty nice. EVERYTHING else is an absolute nightmare. We moved in to an apartment and had immediate trouble. Things were broken that were just covered up when we toured the apartment. Things like the trim in our kitchen, the door to our balcony, the trim in our bathrooms, the door knobs to our laundry room, and our AC unit. Most of these problems have no been fixed and probably will not be fixed (the AC unit being the exception). On top of this

Its pretty decent, as far as apartments go. The apartments are a nice size and a fair price and everyone is super nice. They have just redone the pool area and stuff, as well. The dog park could use some work. It's hidden away and there isn't any toys or obstacles for the dog to play with and there isn't a water spicket in there. Also, people don't pick up after there dogs, so it's also a little gross. We just choose to walk our dog out in the large field behind our building. Otherwise, nice community and people constantly put up flyers for community activities like Pool Parties and Pumpkin Carving

Moved into Westmont Commons this past October, the decision was easily made...the leasing agents were great and very knowledgeable. Since moving in, I've been very pleased with my experience. The apartment is the perfect size, great lay out with lots of closet space. The community has some great views of the nearby mountains. Our apartment overlooks a wooded area off our deck, feels very private and a great place to unwind after a busy day. Since moving in late fall, didn't have much time to enjoy the fire pit and swimming pool...but I hear we're getting new grills by spring!! Very pleased with

This apartment complex is great! I first moved here during the beginning of 2018. After residing here for almost two years I would highly recommend Westmont Commons. I have rented both a one bedroom, and a two bedroom. Both apartments were in great shape, the grounds are very attractive, and I haven't had any issues with neighbors.
