HomeRite Windows & Doors was founded in 2005 by Jacksonville natives and co-owners, Richard Walden and Gates Dearen. Their experience in the industry dates back over 40 years. Richard went to work for Kinco, a major Jacksonville-based window and door manufacturer, in 1979. Gates arrived at the same company shortly thereafter, in 1981.
After almost 25 years of working together in the business in nearly every capacity, Richard and Gates launched HomeRite. While shopping around to replace ALL of the windows in our home we discovered that we just couldn't afford it no matter how hard HomeRite tried so it was suggested to do it in stages starting with the front of the house. This was beneficial 2 fold in that it not only improved our curb appeal but also had the biggest impact on our energy bill due to our house facing West where the evening sun generates most of the heat in the summer afternoons. I recently had glass replaced in my original aluminum frame window above my kitchen sink and am so happy I can finally see through my window again without all that fog I had before. They are a local small business and nice folks. I was satisfied with their service. They are busy so it took some time to order/install but I also told them I was not in a rush so they could prioritize other customers. I would definitely use them again.

UPDATE: Home Rite has came by and fixed the windows. I am very satisfied with the service Rich has provided. The windows are better than ever.
FIRST REVIEW:I am very disappointed with this service. I was trying to get some window parts repaired/replaced for a property at City Place. Mark agreed that he would be able to come out, but never showed. I'm not sure if he was just super busy. But we really needed the windows fixed so I went to Window Rite to speak to somebody.
Cody was nice enough to come out and take a look at the windows that day to get an estimate so that the parts could be ordered
