Congratulations on taking the first step towards feeling more empowered to achieve your goals and dreams and to start on a positive path to growth and well-being. As your therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we cannot change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve painful challenges in your life.

During our time together, we will work to correct long-standing behavior and relationship patterns or perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. Sometimes this journey involves healing wounds from the past or present; sometimes it is about discovering ways to remove the roadblocks to your full potential.
Services
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a wide range of training and clinical interests. I specialize in psychodynamic, insight-building, interpersonal/relational psychotherapy, but also incorporate solution-focused techniques.

I have extensive training in women's and men's issues, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, relationship issues, young adult therapy, GLBTQQ+ identity development, PTSD/trauma/sexual abuse treatment, college-related difficulties, and adjustment disorders. In addition to private practice, I was a staff psychologist at the University of San Diego Counseling Center for 5 years.
My clinical private practice in San Diego, CA is closed due to relocation out of the state. If you are a former or recent patient, please feel free to contact me in the event you have questions regarding referrals provided, need additional referrals, and/or require treatment coordination with your new provider.
I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from therapy for depression and grief counseling to parenting support, couples counseling and beyond. In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of my client's individual needs to help attain the personal growth they're striving for.
Many PPO plans have out-of-network benefits that you may elect to use for providers outside of your network. Often these benefits offer even greater flexibility than your in-network benefits i.e. 2) They will usually give you a percentage of fee covered (i.e., 70% of a "reasonable and customary fee"), so you will need to ask them what their fee typically is for the CPT code you have given them.
