Clackamas County Children's Commission is a grant-funded non-profit organization that serves over 800 children and families throughout Clackamas County.

Services
We provide early childhood, early intervention, and social services for qualifying pregnant people and families with children from birth to five throughout Clackamas County. Established in 1966, we began by providing Head Start services to families in our community from at-risk backgrounds. In 1973 we were incorporated as a non-profit and since then have expanded our programs to include Early Head Start and Oregon Healthy Families.

Our governing bodies consist of our Board of Directors as well as our Policy Council for Head Start and Early Head Start, and our Advisory Council for Healthy Families. Each governing group is comprised of both parents and community members who desire to make a difference in the lives of children and families in our community.
Our home-based programs are designed to support the unique needs of each family through comprehensive services delivered in the home environment. Our home visitors honor the essential role of parents and primary caregivers in each child's life.
During their time together, home visitors partner with each family to celebrate family strengths, identify challenges, and set family and child goals that reflect their individual needs, culture, and values.They provide free screenings, information, encouragement, and resources to support healthy attachments, child development, positive parenting, family stability and well-being, and much more.

I was a very hesitant mother sending my son who has ADHD and OCD to school but we knew he needed some kind of head start program before tossing him straight into kindergarten. We struggle at home with him a lot and thanks to CCCC ESTACADA location my son did amazing. Thanks to all his amazing teachers there he loved it. Teacher Elaine is one of a kind and Im very thankful for her and the other teachers. They had a major impact on my son and little by little we watched our son change for the better. I would highly recommend them to anyone who ask about CCCC. Especially the ESTACADA location. Thank

A wonderfully compassionate place that allows children to be children and learn through play and quality engagement. Clackamas county children’s commission is a wrap a round service that has bettered myself and my family’s life in many different aspects. I starting as a parent volunteer 9 years ago and haven’t left since!!

I like the program and my daughters teachers. Sadly I only give the program a 3 star because the higher admin's don't think about what is best for the children and some of the things they do hurt our children more. They are taking one of my child's teachers away from her class a week early without care of our children feelings about this, They are sending her to a different school for the last week. Today I watched as 7 kids said bye to the teacher that has helped care for them this last year and each child walked out that door crying. The admin staff seem heartless when it comes to things like
