The purpose of Amiguitos Preschool is to provide a safe, comfortable and loving environment rich in the Spanish language, spoken by qualified native speakers to enhance the cognitive, social and emotional development of our students. Over the last three years we have watched our daughter thrive thanks to Amiguitos' loving and dedicated teachers and staff.
The everyday mix of language comprehension, art, science, and outdoor play they provide creates a comfortable, fun environment for the kids to learn in. Services
We opened our doors in 2000 with the goal of providing children 100% total Spanish immersion. We have an Eastside and Westside location to serve the Portland metro area. We first opened our Milwaukie location in 2000 and in 2011 we opened our second school on the Westside in the Cedar Hills area in Portland.
At Amiguitos! each child experiences the kind of attention that promotes a successful initial school experience. Our program revolves around monthly themes with music, arts and crafts, dramatic play as well as library and story time. Whether it be at our Milwaukie eastside location or our Portland westside location, your children will benefit from either a half day or full day pre-school or kindergarten spanish curriculum.

Amiguitos preschool accepts children 3 years old to 5 years old at anytime during the school year based on available space.
Our total Spanish immersion Kindergarten is a five day a week program available half day from 9am to 1pm or full day from 9am to 3pm. Aftercare is available until 5:30pm at both our East and Westside locations. Our doors open at 8:00am. Drop your child off to enjoy our free child care until 9:00am daily.
Amiguitos offers a fun summertime adventure during the month of August. Four week long Spanish Summer camps will have your child exploring the outdors, singing songs, playing games, and doing arts and crafts. No previous Spanish experience is required. Our 3 children attended Amiguitos and are now in public Spanish immersion schools.

Absolutely fantastic is an understatement when describing Amiguitos! The teachers are amazing and love my daughter like she is one of their own. I have nothing but good things to say about this school. We do not speak Spanish at home and I am amazed at how much my 4.5 year old has learned since starting there last year. She teaches all of us new words daily! Often times my 2.5 year old wants to go to school with his sister and I can't wait until he can be part of the Amiguitos family as well!

Uhh, Im 15 years old now, but when I was a young lad I went to this school. I met a lot of friends there, one of them is still my best friend and is pretty dope. The only thing I remember about this school is there was a super amazing teacher who had a pony tail. He was amazing and he was my favorite. I don't know what else to say. I think I learned more in my years at Amiguitos, then I have in my first year of high school. But seriously, why did my parents send me to a spanish pre school. I never speak spanish ever! But its all good. I'm glad I went here so long ago. The end...

Amiguitos is amazing! The facility is spacious with two levels of classrooms and two very large playgrounds. The location is great as I can quickly get on/off 26 at Cedar Hills. My son just started his second year. There was an adjustment period as we do not speak Spanish at home, but at a certain point it was like a switch had flipped. Suddenly my son was singing Spanish songs and talking to his toys in Spanish. It was super cute watching him try to teach his infant sister Spanish so that she could join him at Amiguitos. He's still shy speaking in Spanish around me, but I can tell

I made a $150 DEPOSIT towards enrollment fees and materials. Before my child started, I found out from the state that this center is a child care center, and not a licensed school, I asked for my deposit back. The owner agreed to refund my deposit, in an e-mail. Then the following day, she e-mailed me again saying that she is not giving me my money back. In my opinion, they have not shown me that they care about my child and not the money. They also misrepresented this center. TO THIS DATE I WAS NOT PROVIDED WITH A CURRICULUM or anything proves that they are a pre-school or school. I would prefer

My girls are in their second year at Amiguitos and we couldn't be happier. The teachers are like family and there is a wonderful community of children, parents and teachers. The curriculum is outstanding, fun and age appropriate. Amiguitos has been a wonderful preschool for our kids and we will be sad to say goodbye when they start school.

My daughter just completed her preschool education at Amiguitos and we have nothing but wonderful things to say. The director is wonderful and she hires loving, caring, intelligent native spanish speakers to teach the children. There was always someone on campus that spoke english for those parents who did not speak much spanish (my husband and i spoke zero) but it is a true immersion experience and we are greatful our daughter has a wonderful foundation in spanish as she moves on to elementary schoool!

I highly recommend Amiguitos for a total Spanish immersion preschool and kindergarten experience. Both of our children have attended Amiguitos. The staff are amazing - warm, loving and genuinely caring of the children and their education. We couldn't be more pleased at the language and social skills our girls have developed. We are continuing on with the afterschool Amigos program and love watching our children develop in another language and culture.
