The Personal FX showroom is located on Main Street in the center of town and offers artisan jewelry, contemporary wearables, fine textiles and artfully crafted gifts by designers and artists from both coasts and places in between. Anna Beck jewelry is created entirely by hand by skilled artisans using ancient Balinese techniques passed down from one generation to the next. Single discs are individually cut and placed onto the base metal by hand to create our unique signature dotting, making every piece truly one of a kind. Every aspect perfected, each detail considered, imparting a sense of tradition into each piece of jewelry.
Discover and enjoy the comfort and uniqueness of the wonderful mesh designs Sergio has created. It's hard to believe Sergio Gutierrez's exquisite jewelry and accessories are crafted from humble ball and chain pieces. Sergio, an engineer by trade, transforms these simple elements into a stunning mesh-like fabric he creates by soldering the tiny pieces together in intricate patterns.
Established in 1991, TOKYObay began in San Francisco with two designers, one from Tokyo and the other from the Bay Area. Their fusion of both cultural and design backgrounds solidified TOKYObay as a brand that continues mixing different eras with global influences to inspire each unique watch and accessory.
Emerging metalsmith Gabriele Cressman, known as Gabi, lives on the Coastside and is a gifted designer. I love silver. It personalizes strength and brightness for me, but it also surprises with its softness and malleability. Every time I work with silver, I experience what a metal can tell me and how it can make me feel connected to the earth.

Super cute boutique right next to my favorite coffee shop in HMB. You can find lots of different indie brands, tons of pretty jewelry, purses, unique clothing and very nice atmosphere and service. You will be spending hours there but not leave with empty pockets as majority of prices are actually pretty affordable.

I love this shop. Kathy carries a wonderful selection of crafted gifts for yourself and others. My favorite place for purses, small and large, all colors and styles. Crafted jewelry for all tastes. She has special ordered specific pieces to meet my needs. I have an allergic reaction to certain metals and can not wear them around my neck. I have patronized this shop for years. There is always a stylish gift you can purchase here. Don't let that go to waste.

I have gone here for years- from old location to new locations. I love the variety and quality of the jewelry, purses, scarves and other local artisan crafts. There is a background and story to every item. Kathy is so knowledgeable about the history of the artisans, the material they use and the best way to care for new purchases. She has helped me fix old pieces in need of repair and to adjust jewelry so that it hangs at just the right length. During COVID, the story only opened when safety measures were in place. I cant say enough how much I love Kathy and this shop

My wife bought a handbag from this "store with lots of cute things" a few months ago, and the bag turned out to be defective. After getting in touch with the bag's manufacturer and told to deal with the retailer, she contacted Kathy, Personal Fx's owner. Kathy handled the issue professionally and promptly. Kathy made an annoying situation much less annoying. I am told we're going back to Personal Fx the next time we're in Half Moon Bay.

Long story...to shorten it,suffice it say we had a pair of sentimental earrings from Personal FX. One was lost right away and that was lamented ever since. I sent a picture of the earring to the store and had personal (FX...get it?) service on a relatively low cost item. It was important to us and I was treated with respect and warmth, and got a beloved replacement. This shop was the highlight of our visit to HMB, the excellent customer service this time left me with a warm heart. Stylish packaging... great design/taste! That's why you need to go there! Thanks! The owner shows great pride in not just having a mish-mash of crap, she carefully selects pieces that have something unique and special about them. All items are affordable and she has a huge selection to choose from.
First time I went in, I bought a very cool wallet! I'd been on the hunt and Nordstroms and Macy's all have the same ole boring crap.. not here!! I got a wallet with blue, black and grey leather.. totes my style! I bought a bunch of other stuff too..it's really hard to walk out with just 1 item!

Kathy is a wonderful person who is willing and able to help me quickly find nice gifts for my wife. The inventory changes often enough so there is always something new to see. The prices are very reasonable and the quality terrific.

Personal Fx has a gorgeous selection of jewelry, scarves and apparel, unique raku coasters and decorative items, clothing, wallets plus more, all curated for their individuality. The owner has fine taste and offered me help with how to wear the lovely silk shibori scarf that I found. I want to go back for some beautiful earrings I had my eye on. The prices are super fair and the shop is filled with good finds.

My sister and I found this jewelry shop spontaneously awhile back and now we are hooked. Kathy has beautiful and unique jewelry from different jewelers. I purchased a ring from her store and I get so many compliments. My ring gets more attention than I do. :) If you are looking for something different and unique then definitely try out Personal FX. I don't bother shopping for jewelry anywhere else since i first visited this store years ago. It was in a tiny little space but in the same building back then.
MERCHANDISE: Gorgeous. The most unique and exquisite collection of jewelry and gifts i have ever seen. I also appreciate that there is range of prices to accommodate various budgets.
ATMOSPHERE: Everything is artfully displayed from floor to ceiling. I have learned to take my time and look everywhere so that i don't miss anything.

This little shop is so adorable. Full of bright eye-catchy things....it's perfect for someone with ADD like me. Jewelry, unique clothes, watches, figurines, little multi-colored jars. Even tiny plants (the cutest ones I've ever seen). The woman working the counter is always friendly and helpful. And the store is situated in a multi-store building that has an adorable little courtyard in the middle.
