Services
This dance form is the basis of all dance styles. Our open-syllabus ballet teaches correct body placement and technique while disciplining mind and body. Our ballet classes are educational while recognizing the diverse styles of ballet including, Cecchetti, French, Russian, and American methods, thus creating strong and versatile dancers.
Pre-Ballet may wear either a pink or black leotard, pink tights and a PULL ON skirt that is chiffon or light fabric (any color is fine but please, no other netted or cotton skirts allowed). Please secure hair in a ponytail. Main Stage request that level I thru advanced students wear a solid, black leotard and pink tights (if over 21, you may wear black tights but dress code enforced while taking main stream classes).
This fun and motivating program is a wonderful addition to our dance program that will allow dancers grades 3 thru 12 to focus on performance opportunities, dance outreach in the community and continued educational experiences through various dance workshops in and out of the Sioux Falls area. This is a great team building experience that will spread the joy of dance to many!
Main Stage Ballet & Dance Academy is recognized for our professional concerts that continue to please local and regional audiences for 37 years. We take the talent of each dancer very seriously and challenge them with innovative and mature dance choreography. Although not mandatory, participation in these concerts serves as an important part of dance education and is a rewarding event for the entire family.

We have been at Mainstage for a while and my girls have really enjoyed dancing with Michele. I have chosen this rate based on cleanliness, service, and some other miscellaneous items based on dance.
The maintenance of this flipped church is perfect. It is well cared for and clean. I have yet to see anything of concern.
Service is quite good. Michele, the owner, is very kind to adapt with my girls desires. (one didn't like tap the other didn't like having a late class). Michele has always been very kind and professional.

Great dance studio in Sioux Falls. When I was searching for an adult ballet individual instructor, this was the place that was recommended to me, and for good reason. Nice studios and great instructors. Variety of classes children through adult. Disciplined instruction, yet friendly and open to all levels of skill.
