My interest in opening my own criminal defense law firm to provide people from all walks of life with high-quality, affordable legal counsel initially took shape before I graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 2007. That desire was magnified, however, as I was working as an assistant state attorney in the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office following law school.
