Worst service I have ever received. Never received correct or complete service requested. The owner never wrote anything down that I asked for him to service on my boat. Quoted me a price and service bill was $100.00 over the quoted price. I also gave him a 2nd boat to service and it took him over three weeks to perform a 3 year service and didn't do the additional worked I asked him to do. So I had to wait another 3 more days. Again never gave me a written quote. He didn't service the out drive after I had told him to do it twice over the phone. So outdated business get everything in writing before

Dropped my motor off July 2nd 2020
For a impeller change going into the week of the 4th new it would be at least until the next week. Haven’t received a call for an update I call to a bitter receptionist.. service guy bill says haven’t even touched my motor will get to it when he can it’s now July 14th 2020 will see what the status is if you want you’re work done in a timely manner look else where.. hopefully the workman’s ship is better then the customer service here...
Do not take ur motor here just got back now oil is mixing with water !!!!

I’m so grateful to the outstanding customer service at Bob’s Marine shop they help us on the fly....we had a broken propeller and our prop was out dated and old the associate recommended a variety of propeller’s for my Mercury 120 HP and helped me with installation and explained in detailed on how to install!! Walked in, looked around for help found a women , she approached me, I asked if I can have my stern drive serviced, she said she would get someone which she did. She said he will be right there, took him another five minutes to reach me awhile bullshitting with another customer. Then another customer came into the store, then the person I was waiting for started to help this customer, I was like REALLY!. He gets his tape measure and started to help this other person. I said to myself I'm out of here. Terrible customer service!

This place was a nightmare, took my boat here and they kept it for about 4 months and said it needed new carbs so I bought brand new carbs and they said those were also all bad. So I went through hell returning them and got another set for 1500$ and they said those were also bad. I called bass pro and asked them what it could be and they said to check vent line to see if it's clogged. Bobs said we checked that in the very beginning and that they would check again. Yep that was it all that money for nothing. Told a friend to not go there and he did, next thing you know they broke his boat worst

As anyone can see from the reviews below, Bob's has a bad reputation. I bought a boat from a guy named Jack who works there and said he did all the 'tune up' and repair work there. He said a customer came in and wanted to buy a new boat and was willing to trade in his 23' walk around for cheap so Jack bought it at a great discount. Jack said it was to be a gift for his son so Jack spared no expense to tune this boat to perfection before learning that his son was unable to keep such a large boat at home so he decided to sell it... My employer bought a boat and trailer here six years ago and registered it incorrectly with the DMV. I had to deal with it this week, which involved researching this old invoice for a value assessment. The gentleman who helped me on the phone today was very helpful and patient, and got what I needed to resolve my problem. Great customer service! He did make me promise to buy five more boats from him this year - would love to try!

I first must say, the parts department know there stuff, Ken in parts was always informative as well as helpful!
As for the SERVICE DEPT. Warning Stay Away!!!! I Believe Bill runs or should I say Ruins that Dept. Lower end unit was damaged, took the boat in on 9/5, also needed the thermostats replaced and check my auxiliary oil tank. My Boat sat in their yard from the 5th until 26th. Never looked at the oil tank or the thermostats, let alone order up the lower end replacement! Bill tried to put it on my insurance company for the delay....NOT.... I've been with them for 28 years! Bill and his service dept took on my basket case of a situation with ease honesty and a positive attitude. I bought a 40k$ north river from pop yachts in Oregon. First time out the oil filter fell off and the motor blew up. Service shop in Oregon used wrong filter....
Bottom line is if I were him I would have steered clear of this bs. I'm back on the water and happy as hell. Thanks guys couldn't have done it with out you. Look forward to having my boat serviced at Bobs in the future!

Normally, I write detailed reviews, isolating specific aspects of a business' performance and service. I write reviews in such a manner as I would hope that if a member of my family had read the review that they would receive good guidance -- whether the guidance is positive or negative.

If you value customer service avoid this place. I was walking the lot to check out a boat that was posted on Craigslist and although a couple staff members noticed me, they made no effort to even acknowledge me. After 10-15 minutes i just left. Save your time and check out another dealer interested in selling boats.
