If I could give a 1/4 star, I would to this place they call a nursing facility, this is undoubtedly one of the worst facilities I’ve ever worked at! On top of the low pay, understaffing, overworked employees, the nursing staff are rude and ignorant acting, they really should be nice and praise anyone who walks through the door for a job here! It’s been years ago since I am reminded of my horrific 2 days that I worked here and no I didn’t even get through orientation, that’s just how bad it was! Anyone who dares to work here, good luck 😆

St. Sophia is a wonderful facility. My father spent several weeks there before his passing and staff were very caring and attentive. He couldn't say enough about how great the staff were and how happy he was there. He also raved about the food. All of the staff were amazing, from dietary to therapy to nursing, and everyone in between. He had a beautiful room on the rehabilitation hall which was very homelike and comfortable.

This is one of the most unprofessional nursing homes I've ever encountered. I worked there in the early nineties and it was nothing like this poorly maintained place that is now St. Sophia. The on hold music is just LOUD for no reason at all. I was hung up on only to have to call back to hold on again. Also don't answer the phone while talking to someone in front of you. RUDE!!! I'm just holding until the phone just rings back to the same person who has no answers to anything. Put on hold again then she returns to ask am I holding for an appointment??? Really LADY!!!! Everyone needs to be retrained

This facility has been inconsistent and rude since the beginning of my uncle’s transition. I brought my uncle in from Birmingham, AL with little to no problems other than Diabetes. 4 days in STL, we were informed that my uncle had fell. The call came a day later after the incident. Before my uncles untimely death, he mentioned to me, “those people aren’t right, people do anything to you”. When I asked him further he begin to cough and such. Days later he passed away and we were informed that he had fell while at the facility. My uncle has not had any priors of falling, so the narrative

Horrible place, they literally killed my mother because of lack of care, she was sent to the hospital with a bed sore bigger than your fist on her backside, it was literally black and indented. She arrived at the hospital in kidney failure because she was dehydrated and with infection, every time we tried to call her they would literally hang up on us, with Covid and not being able to see them physically they think they can do whatever, the nurse at the hospital told me this doesn’t happen overnight, this has been on going. Be careful where you send your loved ones,I still never got her personal
