Because healthy teeth and gums are so critical to overall good health and longevity, choosing a dentist is one of the most significant healthcare decisions you will ever make. We are proud to head a team of gentle, experienced professionals committed to the well-being of every patient who walks through our door.

In our practice, we pride ourselves on having maintained warm, long-standing relationships with entire families. Our "patient first" philosophy means that you can count on feeling relaxed, respected, and listened to-whether you're a first-time patient or one of our long-timers. Come on in! Services
One measure of a people-friendly practice is the longevity of its staff. Most of our dental professionals have been with us for years-decades, in some cases. As a result, our entire staff is well invested in our "patient first" philosophy. Because our staff members want patients to look forward to their appointments, they do everything possible to make your time with us feel like a visit with friends rather than a "procedure."
In the dental practice of Dr. Molander and Dr. Ernst, we respect our patients and regard every treatment as a collaboration. Beginning with a thoughtful discussion of your specific concerns, we work with you to determine a plan for optimal dental health. Because our patients span all ages and walks of life, we offer a wide range of routine, restorative, and cosmetic procedures.
Your first visit as a new patient will take about one hour. We will sit down with you, listen to your immediate concerns, and ask you a series of questions that will help guide us in your treatment. After this initial consultation, we will conduct a complete examination of your teeth, gums, and occlusion (the way your teeth come together).
We recommend deep cleaning whenever gum disease involves the bone surrounding the teeth (periodontal disease). To ensure adequate cleaning, we typically apply a numbing agent to the affected area, and complete the process over a couple of appointments. In more severe cases of periodontal disease, we may refer you to a trusted periodontist and work closely with him or her to maintain your optimal oral health.
We recommend fillings in the instance of tooth decay (cavities); chipped teeth; cracked or broken teeth; closing spaces between teeth; and worn teeth. We recommend crowns for broken or fractured teeth, teeth with root canals, and teeth that are highly susceptible to future fracture. A crown strengthens a weakened tooth by covering the tooth and restoring it to its original form and function.
