Strive is known for stealing money from college students’ security deposit and I should’ve known what I signed up for when I signed my lease. Our house was completely disgusting when we moved in. Very quick with tours. Flexible schedule. They work with their tenants well. If any problems, I recommend going to the office. They own a lot of properties so the property manager gets very busy. A lot of their tenants are college students. For college apartments, strive stays very modern with their appliances and appeal. A lot nicer looking than other apartments in the area. As a tenant, you are responsible for fixing most things yourself if you break them, so you need to be independent and responsible to live with them happily. Literally should be ashamed of every aspect of their terrible, unethical 'business'. They will do anything in their power to cyphon every last bit of what you have from you to build their empire while claiming that they are giving back to their community. Extremely overpriced rent for unkempt apartments. Always damages that do not get repaired. My girlfriend is a tenant of Strive Realty. Strive is extremely unprofessional and seemingly unaware of property law in RI. As other reviews have shown, Strive will enter the property without consent or notice. Strive has a history of evicting tenants and becoming physical with tenants and their belongings. Please, please, do not rent through strive. They need to be reported to the BBB. They are highly unprofessional, they lie, they have no problem walking right into your apartment without any consent. They will schedule tours with less than 24 hours notice. They will steal your security deposit and come up with some bogus reason. They will send you constant text messages about rent being due, even if you have paid but your housemate hasn't paid by the 2nd. They neglect maintenance and even if it's something urgent they will tell you to go put a maintenance request online for god knows when

They never fixed anything wrong with the house we lived in, never answered any calls and hid from us when we went into the office to speak with them. Before today I had a well thought out review written in my notes ready to send over to Yelp following my moving day but decided to write something a little more.. idk rude. Im pissed off. They literally broke into these college students apartment yesterday, and the students were being evicted TODAY and they destroyed all of their belongings and threw them on the lawn. That is BEYOND unprofessional and illegal. If they wanted to do something they should have taken legal actions. Not punching a student and destroying their property. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.
