Services
Dr. Landon Roussel is the sole owner and physician at Communitas Primary Care. He is a Board Certified (ABIM) Internal Medicine physician with extensive experience in primary care, geriatrics and house calls, having completed over one thousand house calls as a doctor in Southeast Louisiana. He is also one of the few local doctors who has continued to admit patients to the hospital while still serving as their primary care doctor.
Unlike most healthcare that requires insurance, DPC keeps the relationship simple: just you and your doctor. By cutting out the middleman, direct primary care allows your doctor to focus on your medical needs, providing your referrals, tests, and prescriptions. For a monthly fee, you can talk to your doctor at any time in person or through call, text, or email.
A healthier you starts with a Communitas membership. When you are part of the Communitas community, you have access to your doctor in office or through text, email, phone call, or video chat. Your membership includes all in-office treatments so you will never have a copay or office visit fee. With an understanding of your medical history, your doctor will treat your illnesses and help you maintain your health in the way that is best for you.
Individuals and businesses use DPC by itself or pair it with a low-cost insurance policy. By using both, people have coverage for rare but severe accidents and also quality medical care for general sicknesses. Dr Landon Roussel and his staff Do an amazing job making you feel comfortable with your healthcare options. Their approach to caring for their patients is a like a breath of fresh air and makes you realize your health and quality of life are their #1 priority. When I was sick with the flu Dr Landon sent me home with sample care package to help me immediately start feeling better. I would definitely recommend Communitas Primary Care.

I know Dr. Roussel from an organization we both belong to. He is very committed to his patients and is very knowledgeable and up to date on the most recent health treatments and health protocols. I know several of his patients and I've been told several times that his attention to their issues has made a big difference in their health.

Was absolutely blown away by the service and care of Dr. Roussel. I havent had a family docter since I was a kid, but I just found a new one. The amount of care and equality between patient and docter is overwhelming. Never have I experienced a Docter so willing to go above and beyond as this man has. I will have to reccommend him to many friends. If I could rate this ten stars I would.
