Dr. Sweeney grew up in Staunton, VA and completed her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science in Animal and Poultry Science from Virginia Tech in 1998. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 2004.
She then went on to complete an Advanced Education General Dentistry residency program at the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry which focused on patients with more complex restorative needs.She is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association and the Shenandoah Valley Dental Association.

We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have pain or an emergency situation we will make every attempt to see you that day. We make every effort to see our patients on time. Your first visit to our office establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you. Please arrive 15 minutes early to your appointment and plan to spend 60-90 minutes for a comprehensive exam and x-rays.

The friendly staff checked me in, and directed me to the waiting room. the knowledgeable hygienist invited me to the exam room, where she took my vital signs, and gave me protective wear, i.e. glasses. Dr. Sweeney was great, as usual. She is kind, and gentle. She takes her time, and makes me feel relaxed in her office. She is caring/intelligent and well informed. She is patient with all of my questions and concerns. She is Wonderful. I feel really fortunate that she takes care of me!

If you enjoy you smile stay away, her Moto is functional work is ok, non quality work is ok.....put on a crown and would not repalce (wanted me to pay 1/2 to have it replaced) even after it caused issues with my bite and my teeth started separating within 6 month of the new crown. If you valve your teeth stay away from this non-ethical dentist.

This dental office is OUTSTANDING! I had dental pain this weekend and they got me in first thing Monday morning. Great office staff and techs-Dr. Sweeney explains everything and is very gentle and reassuring. They don't push procedures on you that you don't need. I couldn't be more impressed with them. I will never go anywhere else.
