Hutchens Family Dentistry

Our whole family loves this office. Wonderful hygienists, and both dentists (Dr. Hutchens and Dr. Geo) are friendly and down-to-earth. I especially appreciate how wonderful they are with children. They take time to explain things to my daughter personally (and in a way that she can understand) so that she is invested in her own dental care. In all of our experiences, they have also been up front about costs of treatment plans and don't force anything that isn't needed.

Called today- established patient. Looking for a problem appointment and cleaning. Was told I had to have a cleaning first. Asked if I could do at same time b/c I was SURE I had a problem, was told no. Asked to schedule JUST the problem appointment, was told I had to have cleaning first for the X-rays that would be needed. I asked why x-rays were done before regular cleanings…..and got a “yes…..”
Reception went on to ask if I wanted to schedule my cleaning at 12 today. Advised no I just wanted the problem appointment and would pay for whatever insurance didn’t cover. She then told me

The office was clean and the dentists were ok. However they changed the dentist at the last minute and my insurance only covers doctor Hutchins. So now my insurance is not covering the visit. Be careful if you decide go to that office my neighbors said they change doctors without verifying your insurance. Recommend you to look for another dentist with more transparency.

After being with the same dental hygienist for over a decade, I had to switch due to insurance reasons. I was VERY apprehensive of finding a new office. I'm thankful I decided on trusting Dr. Hutchens and my new hygienist, Fabiola, with my care. Everyone at the office is kind, patient, and very knowledgeable of all things dental. My visit was pleasant, nothing unnecessary was recommended for me, and I actually enjoyed my cleaning and time spent there!

I have never enjoyed going to the dentist until I came to Hutchen’s family dentistry. The culture of this dental practice is great. Everyone is professional, warm and you can tell they enjoy working there. I am very fortunate that my husband convinced me to transfer.

Dr. Hutchens is the absolute best!! I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist! He’s extremely personable and very understanding. He genuinely cares about his patients and their concerns. Also, the staff is amazing! They’re always so very kind and helpful!!
I honestly couldn’t be any happier and am so thankful I finally found a dentist that all around actually cares.

Dr. Hutchens was very informative, helpful, gentle, and sympathetic. He spent lots of time with me describing the treatment he wanted to attempt, and what could be expected. In the end the tooth was too far gone, but he provided a referral to another dentist to who could treat it properly.
The office was clean and comfortable, and the treatment area was sufficiently private. I would certainly recommend and will visit him again for other work.

Today was the first time I have been to Dr. Hutchens and let me just say that he is the Best dentist I have ever been to. He is amazing! I recommend him to everyone who is in need of a good dentist. He's the one. I was so happy I had finally found a caring and wonderful dentist . Also, his staff were so friendly and made me feel so welcomed.

Dr Hutchens and his staff are the best dentist's office I have ever been to. I am very nervous at the dentist and he is so patient and understanding with me. He explains exactly what he is doing and puts me at ease when I am there. He goes over everything with you and makes sure that you are comfortable with what he is doing. I would highly recommend him to anyone! He makes going to the dentist a positive experience
