Went there to listen to country music. Paid a $5.00 cover charge. No band, no DJ. 4 hiphop club dance songs and I walked out. That is the last $5.00 of mine they'll ever get. Also I paid $12.50 for a double tall jack and coke and it came in a little plastic cup half the size of a solocup. Went across the street to Georges Tavern and paid $12.00 for a double tall jack and coke and it came in a huge glass twice the size of a solocup. Oh and they had Karaoke with NO Cover Charge.

We were at The Barn in Sanford for a concert and my neighbor gave a young man that worked there a $50.00 bill for reserved seating upstairs which they were offering. When we tried to go sit at the table which we had payed for a group of people were already sitting there and said they had already paid another $50.00 for the same table. We confronted the young man that we had paid and he denied taking our money, We then went to management and they weren't of much help either. We finally found a police officer and told them what had happened and they brought the worker that stole our money over

Went to Cory Smith concert and could hardly hear him. For someone who loves Cory's music it was sad to be in a crowd who could care less about his music unless he was playing uncle cracker.

A great low-key country club/bar. I'd recommend coming once and trying it out NOT ON A CONCERT NIGHT. Concerts can be crazy and the quality of your night can vary drastically based on how popular the concert is. Cover is $8 before 9pm. Concert prices can range from $15-40, typically? And the venue is small, but it's never too crowded. I never really stay for concerts though as I'm not a huge concert fan, but those are what I've heard and seen. I usually get there when it's pretty dead, around 7pm. I go every week for line dancing lessons and have met so many lovely people here. Great place to learn

Please have shows start when you say they will. We literally stood for over 3 hours having drunk people trip on us and breathing in second hand smoke in the “non smoking areas” before the artist we came to see even took the stage.

Entire staff was rude. My bar tenders all over pour. The only reason I am giving 5 stars is because the guy on staff with the hand tattoos. I think he said his name is JJ or AJ. Really polite and if I'm being honest, SEXY SEXY SEXY man. I'll come back to see him.

I attended the Jerrod Neimann concert at the Barn last night and found the experience to be a bit much for me in a post-covid world. It was hard to find people in attendance wearing masks and no one was asking anyone to put them on. Photos I took look like concerts from 2019, crowds and not a mask in sight.
However, you can socially distance. Tables are available throughout the venue with distancing. The dance floor was crowded during the performance, but I felt isolated at my table.
I am not sure of the normal concert experience for the Barn; this was a first for me. But when I get a ticket

Great venue, staff and events. Went for the truck tug of War which was fun and Tyler Farr last night which was a blast. $5 beer isn't crazy for an event night and always could get to the bar. Clean and tidy venue, my only complaint would be you can smoke in there but it doesn't stink. Only bad if it's somebody next to you which we then moved. Bring on colt Ford!

I went to the barn on both Friday and Saturday nights. The first time I ever went was on a Wednesday night because the website said they had line dancing classes, but when we went it was closed :( (maybe updating the website would be helpful?)
Anyway, so we ended up going on Saturday night and it's $8 per person, and they take CASH only (no cards) for entrance fee. Also, there was a good group of people on the dance floor doing line dancing already to country modern music dances and there was also some regular music mixed in. The dances were a bit advanced. One of the ladies there told us

I will never come back to The Barn for another concert. We went on 8/31 for a Tyler Farr concert which had doors open at 7:00. Farr didn't go on stage until 11:50, almost 5 hours later. Only lies from the venue about why, as we got different stories from different employees. I'm sure they were just trying to sell more beer. A sad showing by a once great venue.

I've always had a fun time at The Barn, used to live around the corner and Wed. nights you would pay $5 to learn line dancing. So much fun! Not sure if they still do that but the place is still cool.

If you wanna go out and have fun, this place rocks and hoots. Not just for country folk, they have plenty of space 4 bars inside so you can always get a drink, they have karaoke in one part and line dancing in the other. they have special nights where drinks are only a quarter or a dollar and its a blast and cheap to BOOT. if you wanna o out and have a great night hit up this gem. they also have a foodtruck late night that cooks up some super tasty grub.

I tell you when I drove up and say Country and Western I was about to turn around while I still could. Parking was easy and it had a security guard in the lot. I sat in the lot for a minute contemplating if I should go in and I thought the cop was going to come over thinking I was going to rob on steal a car but he did not! So I went in briefly looking for my boy, did not see him so I did not stay. However, it was a true country western bar. Eye candy well there was a lot of cougars some were okay and some lost their way to the gym. I would visit again but with people I know.

This place is amazing! I always feel welcome and at home! Awesome drink specials and I can dance my a as off with free line dancing lessons. I think the 3 bad posts above are from the same circle and didn't like that they were kicked out for being obnoxious, ignoring common decency, and rude to the staff. I've always been treated great by everyone and never had a problem. I will always come here and party my a as off!!

Got kicked off the dance floor because we "didn't do line dancing right". Went with a group of friends and many felt the same I did. Bars are supposed to be a welcoming and fun place. Will not return.

Thursdays $10 entry and quarter beers can't beat it! The worst part is the smoke from all the smokers. When you leave you need to basically douse your clothing in bleach and fragrance because it is so bad. This is a great place to find great drinks and easy times.

It says on here that it is not good for groups but every time I go I'm with at least 5 or 6 other people. Also says it's not handicap accessible but I use a wheelchair whenever I don't wanna wear my prosthetic leg and I've never had a problem getting around this place.

Maybe it was the novelty of the place, but I LOVED it! At bars you can usually tell what intentions people have by observing them for a few minutes. On this Saturday night, it was obvious that this was a place for good ol' southern comfort, hospitality and a fun time.

There is a karaoke room with a dj who plays rap/house/club music and people are either doing their own funky dance or bootydancing here.

The main room plays mostly country music and has a huge dance floor. A lot of people know which dances to do for certain songs, and the whole dance crowd moves together like a choreographed

The Barn. hmmmm ok I have been going here for a while now. The barn is very different than everything. its a country line dancing club thats been around since the 70s. its really old school. Don't let that fool you because there are some hot young cowgirls that go here.

The deal at most of these clubs is that a certain night is super happenin and the rest of the week is just ok. At this club the best night is THURSDAY only. That is, if you want to meet chicks. If you want to relax and square dance with your honey, Then just go on any other night they are open.
Thursday nights are awesome
