Dr. Kumar is a nice dentist and very likable. However, he claims to be very knowledgeable and able to perform in areas that I always believed were specialists territory. Such as Orthodontics, Periodontal and Oral Surgeons, Sleep Apnea, etc. etc. I'd rather he be a good dentist and not try to make money from going into so many other areas best done by specialists. This practice is really one of the best. Dr Kumar takes an extraordinary amount of time with you. I've had extensive bonding work as well as standard cleanings and everything has been exemplary. The office decor is very spa-like and the staff is always accommodating. Great find and talent in the suburbs.

Run!!! Yes, the office is gorgeous, but the dentist is dishonest and will apparently tell you anything to make a buck. This dentist is extremely unethical. I saw his advertisements at my fitness gym over 2 years ago and I needed a dentist so I decided to try his new office with a Groupon they offered for a free cleaning and whitening. I was not having any trouble or pain with my teeth. When I came into the office over 2 years ago and had the cleaning they informed me that before I could use the Groupon for whitening I would need to fix a whole mouthful of cavities...16 cavities to be exact! Dr. Kumar is a great dentist, his exams are thorough and in depth. He is really good at educating you on how to better take care and maintain your teeth to keep them healthy. I have had a problem with my gums for years and he is the first dentist I've had who made recommendations on how to have happy and healthy gums for the long term. I was so comfortable in his office, and his office staff in the city is wonderful as well. I usually go to the office in Chicago.
