At one time or another almost everyone who has ever been pulled over has tried to get out of a speeding ticket. They try to talk the officer out of the ticket there at the scene or by going to court and hoping to get it dismissed. Getting a ticket dismissed is not as common as it could be if people knew how to properly go about getting out of a speeding ticket.
If you have received a red light camera ticket, consider getting legal advice quickly. California has some of the stiffest fines for red light camera tickets, approximately $500. This does not include the raise in your insurance rates if points are assessed or the possibility that you may have to attend traffic school.
Most Americans have heard about the "California stop". This terms comes from the fact that most California residents don't obey the 3 second rule when coming to a stop at an intersection with stop signs. Quite a few of them do not even come to a full stop and instead they just slow down. Officer's who witnesses this violation will usually cite drivers for failure to stop.
In California reckless driving is considered a misdemeanor punishable by 5 days and up to 90 days in jail and/or a fine of $500 to $5000. The driver also faces the possibility of having their license suspended and/or their vehicle impounded for 30 days.
If there is an injury to anyone other than the driver then the offense is punishable by 30 days to 6 months in a county jail, a fine of $1000 to $10,000, and a one year suspension of your driver's license.Subsequent offenses of reckless driving carry the same penalties as that for reckless driving resulting in bodily injury.

Protect your commercial drivers license. This law office is fantastic at fighting tickets. Pay them and not the county you received your ticket in. Mark and the entire attorney team really saved me. Wasn’t eligible for traffic school due to the fact that I went above 25mph of the speed limit. I didn’t have any more options besides paying the ticket in full and risk getting the point on my license. Well let me just say, my case was dismissed, didn’t have to pay any fines, and no point on my license. They did that! Mind you, my total in fines was going to be over $2k, I saved myself that, plus the gas and time of going all the way to the Chula Vista court. Mike really saves my life. I got a speeding ticket of 102 mph on 65 in Glendale. Supposedly, I would get fine and get points or even suspension of my license. He created a miracle!! The case is "Dismissed". What a surprise!!! I didn't need to spend times to go to the court, paid "no fine" and "no points". He replied every emails that I sent to him. Very professional.
