Each member of our clinical staff is a Registered Dental Assistant. Our entire office staff has years of experience treating patients to the highest level of care. In addition, we regularly attend continuing education courses and professional meetings to stay current with modern techniques and procedures.
We are always excited about meeting new patients during their first visit to our office. Your initial appointment will consist of a thorough examination and a discussion of potential treatment options. This important visit will give us insights into your orthodontic needs. During the initial examination for each patient, we will address the following questions that cover the basics of orthodontic treatment.
A. Teeth, and sometimes entire facial structures, are permanently changed by orthodontic treatment. It is important that the treatment be appropriate and properly completed. Orthodontic specialists have extensive and specialized training that enables them to provide their patients with professional, personalized treatments.
The best way to ensure a clean and healthy smile is brushing and flossing. Food particles can accumulate on teeth and in braces, and over time, turn into plaque. The bacteria that results from this accumulation can lead to gum disease, tooth decay and even loss of teeth. To avoid these problems while you are in orthodontic treatment, take special care of your braces, teeth and gums by brushing and flossing daily.
When a person's teeth or jaws do not fit together properly, orthodontic treatment may be necessary to correct the problem. If left untreated, these orthodontic problems, often referred to as malocclusions, can cause speech difficulty, premature wear of the teeth and protective enamel, and even increase the chance of injury to the teeth and jaw joints.

Dr. Grey is an amazing orthodontist. Not only does he possess technical talent but he relates well with his patients. My son started seeing Dr. Grey at the age of 6 for quarterly for check-ins while Dr. Grey waited until he had enough growth to begin treatment. At the age of 8 my son's treatment began. Two years later my son still looks forward to his visits with Dr. Grey - sometimes reminding ME that he has an upcoming appointment.
