This place has the best-insulated apartments I've ever lived in. I'm so glad I can't hear anyone else in my building (unless there's a superloud party next to me). I was worried about paper-thin walls, but they have thick enough walls and double-pane vinyl windows. And a max of 4 apartments per building. I can sleep really well each night. So 5-star for the insulation.
If you can get an apartment that backs to the houses, it's even quieter. If you share a back or side with the adjacent unaffiliated apartments, it's much louder and scarier.

An OK apartment complex--especially for Federal Way. I lived in a two bedroom unit for 12 months. The staff was kind, though they often did not take phone calls and seemed understaffed.
Maintenance was able to address concerns within 42 hours. No issues there.
The apartment unit itself was functional and clean. Nothing of significance broke. It was also a good price--$1600 for 2 bedrooms and balcony. Trellis visually mimics a suburban neighborhood, which originally attracted me to it.

We have lived here for about 4 years. I loved the original property management company. We have been disappointed with the new company, regarding building upkeep and yard maintenance that includes the sprinkler system that stopped working and has yet to be repaired. On site staff are great and are friendly and helpful when approached. It is the company policies that appear to come up short.

Do yourself a favor and don't live here. I heard from multiple residents that the old property management was better than the current one. The current management is cheap and very inexperienced. Can't wait for my lease to end so I can move out. Some residents here are so dirty and don't have respect to other residents whatsoever. They keep dumping their garbage outside and you can imagine the rest. I left a photo so you know what you're getting yourself into before you rent here.

Horrible landscaping and there trash on parking .... maintenance guy is awesome when I live there . Left because of nosiey neighbors and the apartments next to them are fill with cops during weekends.

My family and I love living here however I have only one suggestion. Let's get Joyce an assistant! She busts her butt day in and day out! She's amazing!

It is a wonderful place to live and the pool is simply fun 4 every 1 to be at.

I think the apartments are great. The appeal of the apartments is nice and the managers were always awesome and timely with everything. I moved away and chose a thrive community apartment again because of my great experience. If there was one thing I didn’t like, it would be the area.
