I stopped by Mountain Khakis to purchase some warmer clothes while on vacation. They had a nice selection of clothing for men and women. I am not familiar with the brand but I liked the quality.
The store was loaded with sales and was clean and nicely organized. The sales associate was friendly and helpful.

I recently visited the Castle Rock Outlets and was excited to see a new outdoor store I had never heard of. We went inside and immediately found shorts and shirts that we thought would be perfect for hiking. While I was trying on a pair of shorts I hear someone say "You hide better than the Mexicans." I left the dressing room thinking I misheard. Then I saw some kids playing hide and seek and then I heard the CASHIER say that phrase again to these kids playing hide and seek. Needless to say we immediately put our almost purchases back in the rack and left the store. We will not be shopping

Mountain Khaki has a very good selection of "Colorado-style" clothing (as in, if you shop at North Face or Patagonia, you'll like this place). The ladies selection is much smaller than the men's however I was able to find a great pair of cotton canvas shorts with a bit of lycra which give them just enough stretch to make them uber comfortable. They didn't have my hubby's size in the style he was looking for but offered to have several options brought in the store for him to come back and try. Hot Dog! Love the people that work here! They're so fun and down to earth. Pants are awesome, husband's been buying them for years and they're so durable and good looking and last forever! Flannels great quality and affordable and look DAMN sexy on my man :) Not to mention, my 4 year old looks stinkin ADORABLE in their cute tiny flannels and adjustable khakis.
