Catherine Kelly went the extra mile to help me. I'm a Harvard grad student who wanted a nice apartment close to campus. After looking at several options, we found one that used to be official student housing until it was acquired by a great property management company, so now it's the best of both worlds - both close to campus and renovated with all the latest amenities. Catherine carefully considered all my requirements every step of the way and even got the landlord to not only lower the rent but also throw in a month free and pay the broker fee. I love my new place and highly recommend

We planned to meet with Mark but he didn’t show up or reach me afterwards. It was very unfortunate.

Falsely advertised an apartment in Prospect Hill. Had listing as 80 Boston Street and took us to 85 Boston Street instead. The listing was of a very nice 2 bedroom unit. The place Mike and Mark took us to was a slum. They said it is an accident and posted the wrong pictures. That they would fix it.
A week later they still have the nice pictures up of the wrong unit. I'm not sure if Mark Porter and Mike O'Toole are running some kind of scam or just incredibly lazy. Either way, stay way!

CAUTION: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH APARTMENT HUB. Mark is as unprofessional as they come. Mark specifically was extremely rude to me and my partner but also yelled at one of his associates in font of us, slammed his door while we were in his office, and hung up on me when I called him trying to understand what exactly was going on.

Don't waste your time. He wasted our time, showed how truly unprofessional he is, and treated his staff with utter disrespect.

Awful experience. Mark, who we worked with for renting an apartment, made no attempts to help relay any questions we had to the landlord. He was extremely pushy with getting us to sign the lease immediately, when there was no rush. Asking another partner at Apartment Hub verified no one else was looking into this apartment. Furthermore, after badgering us for information all day, we could not reach him over the phone that day! Would avoid if possible.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could.

We worked with Mark to find our apartment. The apartment is gorgeous! But working with Mark was awful. And we found out later that other brokers were showing the same apartment, I wish we had worked with one of them.

He was very pushy with requiring us to sign the lease on same day we saw the apartment. My roommates and I are grad students, and therefore, need guarantors. This lease required a notarized guarantor form (very unusual and requires much more effort on the guarantor's part). He wanted it quickly and was annoyed when it took time for

I'm a landlord that has been working with Mark at Apartment Hub for years and, honestly, I have had great experiences with him and his company. Mark is one of the hardest working, most meticulous brokers that I've worked with. In the past, when I've had a vacant apartment, Mark has had it listed and newly updated within hours. I often have it rented within a day or two. He has always seemed respectful of potential tenants, their applications, their credit history and fully stays in the process until the keys are handed over.
The Boston/Cambridge rental market can be a nightmare

Contrary to some of the other reviews, my wife and I had an excellent experience working with Apartment Hub in Cambridge, MA. I strongly recommend anyone new to the area to consider using their services as we found their services to be professional, straightforward, and very helpful.

To offer better insight into our experience, here is a little about our experience working with Apartment Hub. As an admitted graduate student to a local university, my wife and I needed to find an apartment that was close to school, in a good area, and had enough space for my wife and I to live comfortably. This fall I enrolled as a grad student at Tufts, however, since I am from Grand Rapids, I really had no way of finding a nice condo without taking off from work or leaving XiXi (my pom) at home alone. A colleague of mine suggested that I try Apartment Hub to help find the condo I needed. I went online and checked them out and I was really surprised to see how accommodating they are to students and professionals that own dogs. That was most certainly a welcomed relief since it had been hard to find homes that allow pets. I also found that they have been in business for over 20 years. This lets me

My experience with Apartment Hub has been nothing short of outstanding and such is the feeling of greatness I feel (even though I very rarely post reviews) that I just want to leave a great one for people who more than deserve it! I needed an apartment in Cambridge and I had heard from friend about their exclusive deals that can't be found anywhere else. So knowing they were completely trustworthy and reliable as well as exclusive, that was all I needed to get my hooked on my friend's recommendations... and I'm SO happy I reached them out.
They were very very very attentive and helpful in every

I was accepted to a medical residency at Harvard and needed an apartment on short notice that would accommodate my cats. Apartment Hub was sensitive to my needs and showed me the exact kinds of apartments I had in mind. Since I couldn't fly down I set up my meetings with them through FaceTime, which was effortless. I ended up with a fairly spacious apartment at a reasonable price. The people at Apartment Hub really came through when I needed it the most and I'd recommend them to anyone.

We are SO thankful for Liz at Apartment Hub. Not only did she help us secure the best apartment we could afford (an apartment we were surprised we could afford), but when we accidentally paid Apartment Hub and the Landlord with a check from a closed account, Liz was on our side and helped convinced the landlord to re-consider us. She vouched for us, and was persistent in helping us secure the apartment we had spent so long looking for.

Many thanks to Liz and Apartment Hub!

If you are looking for an affordable apartment that allows dogs, look no further. Apartment Hub is very helpful and flexible. Can't make it into town for a tour? You can have pictures and videos sent to you, which is so much easier than having to fly in for a possible place to rent. All of the paperwork is online, so you don't have to go anywhere until the apartment is ready for you. I would highly reccomend apartment hub.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Avoid at all costs.

The brokers are extremely rude and unprofessional. Despite signing most of the paperwork and putting down close to 9k, he threatened to show the apartment to new people unless we had our last roommate sign the rest of the documents immediately. ON FOURTH OF JULY..... Not only did he force us to drive to meet him on the holiday, he realized that he forgot to tell her to sign something and brought us down to his level of having no life on a National Holiday. Followed by him rudely pointing out, "Wow, x-roomate makes no money.

I used Apartment Hub’s services after all the good reviews I saw. I was not disappointed. I came to Cambridge from out of town and needed to find a place in a short amount of time. Their staff is very friendly and extremely helpful with all the questions I had. Their staff knew exactly where to look and who to contact. I was impressed with how well they know the city and how quickly they gave me a list of the best value properties. I have a dog and they were also very helpful with finding me a place that accepts animals. I really appreciated this because I know it isn’t easy to find a place

Great team to work with! Both Mark and Liz were very accommodating to our every request. They found us a perfect apartment first try and put us in contact with the landlord early on about making sure everything would be perfect by the time we moved in. I have used many other companies to find apartments in the Porter Square/ Davis Square area and they were by far the best. I highly recommend them. And its always a perk to have a cute dog around when you're signing away a bunch of money for a lease. Takes away the sting a little bit.

Fantastic group of people at apartmenthub will help you find your place. I was so satisfied that I could talk to people beyond using the website, and now I've found the best place for me for right now! I will recommend them to any friends looking, and already a few of my friends have had successes, too! Thanks!

It's too bad that there are so many negative reviews because my experience was very positive and I hope people do read mine because my experience was not anything like the negative ones.

I emailed the day I saw an apartment I loved and heard back from Mark almost immediately. I begged for the first showing as we did not want to lose the place and he kept his word and replied to all of my questions prior to the process.

Liz showed me the apartment and was friendly and kind. We really hit it off and she drove us back to the office to sign the paperwork which I thought was very thoughtful

Avoid this place at all costs.

When I moved to Cambridge a couple years ago, I actually had a decent experience with a woman (I think her name was Liz?). She was accommodating and the process was quick and relatively easy.

However... I'm in the process of moving out, and my landlord uses Apartment Hub (god knows why) to rent out his apartments. Mark had come to my apartment a few weeks prior to take some photos, and asked me if it was okay if he showed the apartment in the upcoming weeks. I come home a few weeks later to my apartment with the front door not only unlocked but wide open

Is there anyway to give a negative rating? Because I would give Apartment Hub one for sure. Being from out of state, all the way from PA mind you, and looking into apartments near the school I'll be attending in September, I reached out to Mark at Apartment Hub hoping that he'd be able to help me. After giving him my phone number multiple times and what I was looking for in a place, he mentioned that there were 5 or 6 places he had in mind to show me. I had high hopes that I"d at LEAST be able to do a walk through of one of them to get an idea of them.

No. Nothing in the slightest

I realize that apartment hunting around this area is a tough gig, and you aren't going to be treated like royalty. But I DO expect the real estate agent to at least show up, which Leslie failed to do.

I had an appointment with Leslie to see an apartment in Somerville at 6:00. Several unreturned emails, phonecalls and voicemails later... nothing. So after an uncomfortable 20 minutes standing there, I eventually left.

Two days, Leslie sent me an email and said she tried to leave me a message but my mailbox was full. No, you didn't try to call because obviously I had my phone out while

I wasn't impressed and ended up not meeting up with Mark who we had reached out to.

He did try searching for us but didn't always listen to what our search criteria was. Didn't seem extremely happy to be working with us either.. Seemed a bit annoyed by us throughout.

The one thing I want to point out is that I reached out originally and then looked at yelp reviews and saw how poor they were so I asked mark about them... His response was not that they had improved or anything... But instead that "people who are happy don't review... Or good reviews get buried"
