First let me say Renee was great I wanted to get my lashes done at the last minute for my b day! I told her I… couldn’t come in until after work unfortunately and they closed at 6. She stayed late for me to be able to get them done! That was first a great feeling! Second she did my first set of lashes ever! I love them! She also waxed my eyebrows and did great! Thank you so much Renee for making me look good for my birthday! 😁

Maddie was my stylist and I was so pleased with my hair! She’s so sweet and makes you feel right at home. It’s always nice catching with Corrie as well! The salon is gorgeous and has such a pleasant atmosphere. I would highly recommend. I can’t wait to go back!

I’ve been going to Corrie at Mane Street for over 5 years. I’m super particular and Corrie is always patient and quickly learned how I like my hair. I will also get color occasionally and she does a flawless job. The atmosphere of her salon is laid back and you start to feel like you’re going to see an old friend each time you go to get your hair done. 10/10 recommend.

Maddie has been my hair dresser for years! I followed her from her previous salon along with my mom and friends here in culpeper. Getting your hair done by her isn’t just going to get a haircut or dye, it’s a wonderful experience and she truly cares about the well-being of all of her clients. On top of that she’s amazing at what she does, she isn’t one who will tell you to try something just cuz, she will actually give you her opinion on what she thinks will look good on you and what will be best for your hair health (it’s a passion) Maddie isn’t just my hairdresser she’s a friend

I first visited Maddie when another stylist messed up my balayage by giving me basically a full highlight. I get my hair dyed every 2 years with a balayage with the expectation that the grow out will look nice. The original grow out this time resulted in a harsh line after only 1 month, which was the exact OPPOSITE of what I wanted. I messaged Maddie asking if she would be able to fix it and she assured me that she would take care of the issue. I left Mane Street completely satisfied with both my hair and the experience!! My grow out 6 months later is exactly what I pictured and I love it! Maddie

I moved here from Maryland this past June. I started coming in July. Maddie does a great job with highlights!… They’re very thorough with cleanliness and sanitizing during this crazy time. I also love the environment. All the stylists are so friendly and you can tell they love their work. Thanks for a nice evening ladies...I needed it!

$60 for toner. If you have ever been to any other salon you know this is so overpriced. I'm shocked. Absolutely shocked. Please beware that you may be being overcharged on other services too. For this service- it's 3 TIMES the typical price. Toner is just a product put on your already pre-lightened hair to "tone"/ (slightly modify the shade) of the color. We asked for the brassiness to be taken out of blonde and it ended up silver/ purple and then to add so much insult to injury- were charged 3 times the price. I'm sick over it. Would not recommend.

I moved to Culpeper 5 years ago and I found Mane Street Hair Salon while I was just walking around downtown. I was a walk in at first had my appointment with Corrie Gyory. She and I immediately bonded over having male names (we are both women) and our love of everything Disney! I knew I had found my hair home and I've never regretted it. I contacted Corrie 6 weeks prior to my wedding, after my previously booked hair and makeup people fell through. Corrie was gracious, helpful, and 100% transparent through the whole process.
Corrie and her team took excellent care of myself and my girls. We had a great time getting ready, not to mention how punctual they were. The final product looked PERFECT, our hair and makeup lasted the whole day. Highly recommend :)

Omg.. I cant tell you Yelpers, how happy I am with my hair. Their products from color to products all smell amazing not chemically.. Ms Scott was honest and very talented. I'm a new customer to Mane Street hair. I had called for an appointment at my old salon only to learn that my girl didn't work there any more. So after checking Yelp, I decided to give mane street hair a chance. Sam was my stylist. She's been cutting hair for like 8 years. She listened to what I wanted and then she made it happen. My hair looks better than it has in a long time. She even gave me tips on how to make my thinning crown look more fuller. I think I've found my new forever salon.

Finally a hair salon with amazing stylists that know what they are doing! The Owner keeps her staff trained and constantly keeps them educating themselves on being the best. Highly recommend you to schedule ahead of time since when you are the best in the industry! Support a local business with a hard working local owner located right in downtown Culpeper! They also have spray tan which is absolutely amazing if you want to look good for a special event! You will be amazed how natural it looks. Schedule today for an appointment! I recently moved to the area and am looking for a new salon home. This was a disappointment. Good points:The salon is clean and cute (as the other reviewer stated), and I am satisfied with my shape-up. Bad points: The staff is unprofessional in general, and a mistake in identity made me feel very awkward (I was greeted coldly at first because the staff assumed I was a previous customer who was coming in with complaints). I will try somewhere else next time.
