She completed her dental training at The Medix School graduating in 1998 and completed her internship at the University of Maryland Dental School receiving a Certificate of Merit in 1999. She is a certified Dental Radiation Technologist and Qualified Dental Assistant. April will be the cheerful face when you come into the office each morning.
Dr. Sokolosky and our team focus completely on you, your oral health needs, and your comfort. From preventive to cosmetic to restorative, we can treat each dental milestone a person hits growing up and into mature age. All our dental procedures are geared towards helping our patients successfully achieve a beautiful, healthy smile.
Jennifer A. Sokolosky, DMD, PA and her team have been serving the Ellicott City area since 1995, providing the highest quality in family dentistry. Dr. Sokolosky is committed to excellence in preventative, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry, and has maintained this commitment through ongoing continuing education.
Dr. Paik completed his dental degree, specialty training in prosthodontics, and a Master of Science in oral biology from the University of Maryland Dental School, where he is now a clinical assistant professor. He practiced in Annapolis for two years before establishing his own private practice in Columbia in 2007.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Jen. Her bedside manner puts you at ease especially if you have dental anxiety. Her chairs are super comfortable and she has a tv mounted in the ceiling. Every member of her staff was so welcoming. I never thought I would feel comfortable in a dentist office until now. I’ve already made my appointment for next year.

I’m not great at doing reviews, but if you are in need of complex dental care, I highly recommend Dr. Sokolosky. For years I had seen a general practitioner who was a fine dentist and while provided the care I needed, he died unexpectedly, so since my family was seeing Dr. Sokolosky I signed on. It’s a good thing because in my mind, my care is not “run of the mill”
I’ve been seeing Dr. Sokolosky for years now and her care and network of specialists have provided me outstanding care, “gum transplant”, root canals, caps, and now finalizing an implant.

Jennifer Sokolovsy, DDS and staff were amazing. I found the practice to be courteous, professional and friendly. They really know how to relate to patients. I wish that I had seen her 10 years ago because it would’ve saved me from four root canal re-treatments, tooth sensitivity and crown work that would have been performed correctly from the beginning. Soon after sitting in the chair her expertise and thoroughness came through. I was impressed also with how current she was on the latest procedures and processes. Oh, did I mention she has wonderful hands. I had a super comfortable experience

Great, team and wonderful experience. Dr Sokolosky was able to get me in as a new patient on very short notice. The team was extremely helpful during the check in process, even going out of the way to help me find my insurance info ( I knew my carrier, just not my policy info).
From beginning to end, communication was great, the problem diagnosed, and a plan was in place to address it. very Happy I went to MD Smiles, I found my families new Dentist!

I saw Dr Jenn for the first time a few weeks ago. Dr Jenn found a broken filling during my dental exam and was able to fix it so I didn't have to return for a separate visit. My hygienist, Holli, was very thorough and gentle. It was nice to work with a dental team that is friendly and fun! Thanks for a great first visit!

I went to Dr. Paik to get a veneer placed and the experience was excellent. Dr. Paik took extra care to make sure the shade matched well and so that the aesthetics and functionality of that tooth were perfect. Coming from a dental background myself, Dr. Paik's extensive experience in cosmetic dentistry was very apparent and I could not have been more satisfied with the procedure and process! Highly recommend!
I also had the opportunity to meet Dr. Shin, who was very friendly as well. I later ran into him while volunteering at the Maryland Mission of Mercy where he was volunteering his skill
