Dr. Denise Halliburton is a native of New York City. She graduated from Hampton University and holds degrees in Biological Sciences, Bachelor of Science and Medical Science, Master of Science. She attended Howard University College of Dentistry, where she graduated to obtain a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
She went back home to New York City, where she completed her residency at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Halliburton is currently a Clinical Instructor at University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Dr. Halliburton has advanced training in all areas of dentistry and is committed to the unique needs and oral health goals of our patients.

Dr. Halli is an excellent dentist. She made sure to explain everything and answered any questions I had. This is gonna be the place for all dental care. When you walk in you’ll feel they treat you like a good friend and they provide you the best service. Dr Halliburton is the only one you need for all your dental needs. She is skilled and experienced and excited to help her patients out. She is accurate, in details, and get your dental needs done with peace of mind in a timely manner.

I give Dr. Halliburton 5 stars. She has an amazing personality but more importantly, she is an amazing dentist. I needed a lot of dental work done. Dr. Halliburton did a thorough exam, showed and explained everything that needed to be done then asked how I would like to proceed. Having absolute confidence in her skills and ability; she has proven me right.

I was referred to Halliburton Family Dentistry by my trusted orthodontist so I was very confident that at the very least Dr. Halliburton would be competent. Not only is Dr. Halliburton beyond competent I experienced her as focused, respectful, as well as honest and forthright. She took the time to explain (with photographs) what she saw when she examined my teeth. She presented a course of treatment that included a filling and discussed the maintenance of my oral health. Dr. Halliburton is very friendly, outgoing and welcoming. My experience was very pleasant from the consultation to having a tooth extracted. It is evident that Dr. Halliburton cares for her patients with how patient she is with explaining the process, sharing videos of the procedure and doing follow-ups after the procedure.

Halliburton Family Dentistry was one of the best experiences I’ve had with a dental office. Dr. Halliburton has a wonderful bedside manner, which is rare among a doctor. She actually cares if you are feeling too much discomfort. I’ve never had that experience at a dentist office. She keeps you regularly informed about any procedures, costs and insurance coverage. Naturally, the first time that I visited I was nervous, as reflected by my increased blood pressure (I don’t ever remember any dentist who does a blood pressure reading). However, after that initial visit, I was not nervous anymore

Dr. Halliburton and her staff wowed me from the moment I sat in the dental chair and even after I walked out the door! Clean and exceptionally thorough, the level of care I received set a precedent for my future dental services. Her and her staff went from the neck up in checking my health and kept my worries away with care and great conversation. I had my cavities filled gently and painlessly and was contacted throughout my healing process, with all questions answered. I never thought I would see the day that I would be looking forward to my next dental visit! I am grateful for Dr. Halliburton

My initial visit with the dentist was to address an issue I was suffering. She took it into urgency and was able to help me feel better with in days. My second visit was an amazing experience she was able to do a full mouth exam and she addressed every issue that a lot of dentist never told me. She explained everything step by step and even though there was work to be done she assured me that a healthier mouth was in close reach. The staff was very friendly and they communicated with even after my visit to see how I was doing. All in all I had the best experience I have ever had with a dentist
