I recently stayed at The Tiki for one night. I arrived on Saturday (afternoon) and checked out on Sunday morning. I went with 4 other people and we reserved a 1-bedroom, with 2 double beds and a sofa bed. We really enjoyed it alot. Especially because it is right on the beach. It doesn't matter what unit you stay in, you will have great access to the beach.

Rented a beachfront condo here because we could have our dog. Location was excellent. Condo was missing some kitchen items so we were forced to go buy them—no coffee filters and no spices (not even salt and pepper). The bathroom should have been cleaned better—there was a dog pee stain on the wall that should have been scrubbed off.

The property itself is gorgeous and centrally located on South Padre Island. We enjoyed a beachfront view from our balcony which was absolutely breathtaking watching the sunrise and sunset. Our condo was really comfortable and cozy. Only suggestion is to soon replace the chairs for the table and purchase a newer couch. The "seating" in them are a bit worn. We had 2 queen beds in one of the rooms - Extremely comfortable and spacious. I do plan on coming back!!

When we got our condo for a week in August it was really dirty!
The air conditioner filter was filthy and there was loads of dirt and sand everywhere and the bed had spots of blood on it(Didn't get photos of that unfortunately). The supposed couch bed was a very old ragged down uncomfortable couch that had stains on the pillows and the bathroom floor was filty with dirt and hair and other debris.
The only thing that housekeeping did was change the bedsheets and cleaned the dust off the air-conditioning. That's it. They didn't sweep the bathroom.
Honestly, this place was not worth the 645$ for

Fantastic home away from home experience. We will definitely be back and hoping 144 is available when we do. Front row parking, easy beach/pool access and the ability to not eat every meal out if we chose. A much needed enjoyable relaxing vacay. Cannot wait to be back. A quiet venue with a quick check in and out process and security on site to verify guests are the only ones occupying the area.

Do not rent here at The Tiki. We stayed in a condo for 7 days, upon arrival the screen door was ripped, the bed was horribly uncomfortable and they insisted that we wear a wrist band that you can not take off for the entire duration of your stay. You shower in it, sleep in it and it can not come off until your departure. After we checked out, a few days after we got home, they messaged and tried to accuse us of having a dog in the condo. It was my husband and I’s honeymoon. We left our dogs with my mother and law. I am an employed veterinary technician and at my home in Greenville I do own multiple

(Skip the apps and rent directly from The Tiki!!) Really great experience for our family of three. The price was just right and saved us a ton avoiding eating out every meal. We stayed in a 1 bedroom, closer to the beach. Very convenient to the ocean plus right there by the pool. Having a room with a full kitchen was a *huge* money saver. Would have been nice to have a dedicated recycling area, a resident told me if I left our recyclables by the trash they would get sorted, I'm hoping that was accurate. Didn't have much interaction with staff, but they were friendly checking us in and out, latter

This place gets 4 stars because of location and price. After that there are some definite changes that need to be made. The towel exchange hours were right in the middle of the day when you are either out on the beach or already out doing activities. Those hours should be changed to like an early morning drop off an early evening drop as well. If you have kids with a lot of stuff to take out to the beach first floor is a must. Room 120 was ok the only thing that was updated was the shower in a way. They really need to check their pipes because there were points during a shower were you would have
