Placed an order in the morning with 2 day shipping. Order didn’t ship until the following afternoon and they shipped it via standard ground. I didn’t have my product for my trip in time. I asked to be compensated for the shipping and received no reply. I should report them for not giving the service I payed for but I’m still hoping they have decency to fix the situation.

Instead of assuming that you will find the best prices on Amazon or eBay, as I often have, it pays to shop around.
Not only did I get a better price at Hodges Marine, I was treated to the sort of personal service that I thought had disappeared. I hope I am not breaking any rules when I say that the service afforded me by McKenzie and Morgan was absolutely five-star plus! Thank you.
I will certainly try this chandlery first for all my future boating needs.

Posted a respectful low star review of a Mastervolt product that I purchased from them through their site and because it was not a 5 star review helping them sell more stuff they never posted it to the site.
As well I contacted them for support on a couple Victron products I purchased from them and was told they have no product support department.
Now … had they posted my review of the Mastershunt I submitted I would not have been inclined to write this review.

I purchased item. Bad out of the box. Hodges told me I couldn’t get a refund or anything till I sent it to manufacturer. Manufacturer doesn’t have any replacements. Now Hodges still won’t take return. Total waste of money and time. Worse company ever! If you’re desperate and still buy from these people and get defective item, don’t tell them it’s defective, just send it back immediately!

Ordered a product for $153 but never received the product . They asked me to me initiate a chargeback with my bank because Hodges says "We have insurance to cover these things". I have done so and still waiting on a reply from my bank. In the meantime, Hodges has told me they denied my claim and will not be refunding my money. This was my first AND LAST order with Hodges. I have NEVER had a company treat me like this when I did not receive what I ordered.

Ordered a solar controller and received a battery isolator. Was paying a little more for the controller but Hodges is a local company where I live and wanted to keep my money local. Called them to find out what to do. They said I will have to send picture, so I did. Then waited 2 days for them to get back to me saying that my return was in review and I would hear from them. All the while I have had to wait months for my installer to get to me and now I had no controller for him to install. I told Hodges my predicament but they weren’t willing to send out a controller without first receiving the

This place is horrible. they will sell you kits with parts missing and then blame the product manufacturer, while keeping your money!! DON'T BUY FROM HODGES, customer service is awful and once they have your money.....they will ignore you if there is a problem. check the one star reviews on Google and look at how recent the dates are.
