Dr. Kuzu specializes in reproductive health, digestive complications, stress, sleep disorders, post-stroke, labor inductions, pain, trigger point therapy, injection therapy and much more. She has a Masters degree in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College, Boulder, Colorado. And a Doctoral degree in Chinese medicine and Acupuncture from Yo San University of TCM in Los Angeles, CA.
Acupuncture and herbal formulas greatly increase the chances of conceiving, experiencing a healthy full-term pregnancy, and a healthy and happy baby. Acupuncture effectively treats several gynecological disorders. Commonly treated conditions include painful menstruation (dysmenorrhea), PMS and absence of menstruation (amenorrhea).

I have been going here for 2 years now for acupuncture and I cannot say enough great things about Elif and the whole staff. I recently was lucky enough to have the help of both Elif and Kate to help induce my labor and it was truly an amazing experience. They catered to my exact needs and the whole process of delivery went very smooth because of their help.

I had one session with practitioner Josiah for my fear of swimming in the ocean. Right before I left for our family vacation I decided to try Evox treatment because I heard it would help me from my friends. I love watching my kids swim and I always wish I could swim with them. Usually I wear the kids arm swimming floats but after this one session I beat my fear! I could not believe it. So grateful I found this healing center! Dr. Elif is a blessing. She is so energetically connected, which I find to be a game changer in Chinese medicine practitioners. I love Boulder Body Balance and they have wonderful staff. Anytime I am not feeling well, have back pain, sleeping problems, or just need a massage. They always make me feel significantly better than I did when I came in.
I also have to share that they have been extremely flexible for my schedule. They have always been happy to fit me in their busy schedule even occasionally on short notice when I am not feeling well.

I had a wonderful first acupuncture treatment and cupping today with Dr Elif. I’m feeling more relaxed and in-tune. Plus, the clinic is very clean and Covid conscious. Did you also know they have a non-profit?? It’s truly a rare find to see someone willing to heal those who are not privileged enough to afford treatment themselves. I highly recommend Boulder Body Balance for acupuncture and related work. I was in need of some serious stress relief and had issues with muscle tightness in certain areas plus I was always scared of the thought of needles and acupuncture. Elif made me feel very much at ease and I've since been completely comfortable with acupuncture after my first session. I was finally able to get good sleep and those problem areas feel much better after my first two sessions. I'll be back real soon.

If there was one thing I would change about my pregnancy it would be having a weekly treatment from Dr. Elif. My first visit was at 38 weeks and she helped ease the anxiety along with prepare my body for labor and delivery. Her passion to help others shines during every appointment. After labor and delivery, she went out of her way to contact me to make sure I was recovering well. I cannot praise her enough. HIGHLY recommend.

Dr. Elif is absolutely amazing! After a slew of crazy illness and the stress of moving across the country, I was struck with bell's palsy. She has been a godsend! So compassionate, so knowledgeable, and so helpful! She was super gentle during my first session, and I already notice a difference in my face! (Literally after one session) She also provided me with the necessary suppliments to help my body heal so that I can be back at 100% and learn to listen to my body! Dr. Elif has been a god-sent. My doula recommended I see her to help prepare my body for labor and delivery with my second baby. She is incredibly intuitive and healing. In just two sessions, I feel like I have gained more progress with her than any other acupuncturist I have seen before. I am very hopeful that through my work with her, my body will be in the right state to kick into labor naturally.

She is extremely thorough, fully present with the patient, and is able to combine various modalities into one treatment so that your main concerns are addressed.
