Services
Oakridge of Plattsburg will provide a nurturing environment for its residents and staff, so that all may experience individual respect, dignity, caring and support while living or working within these walls. In 1968, Plattsburg community members constructed a nursing home to meet the needs of a growing senior population.
Oakridge of Plattsburg offers professional nursing services with an excellent staff-to-resident ratio, which allows for quality individualized care. Therapeutic and recreational activities are provided by certified activity professionals. Social workers coordinate admissions and discharges and assist with emotional, spiritual and social adjustments.
Rehabilitation services are offered to individuals who require specialized individual treatment for medical conditions including, but not limited to, fractures, strokes, and heart disease. Our physical, occupational and speech therapists specialize in rehabilitation for seniors.
All of our rehabilitation services are conveniently performed on-site at our well-equipped Rehabilitation Therapy Center by licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists.Our rehabilitation team develops a comprehensive plan of care to achieve an individual's maximum independence, quickly and safely.

Oakridge of Plattsburg gladly accepts volunteers. Volunteers give treasured hours to our residents and play an important role in the facility as they provide assistance with activities on a daily basis. There are many opportunities to serve, and we appreciate everyone's time and talents. Instruction and training are provided for volunteers as they become familiar with the resident population and facility services.

My grandma has lived at Oakridge for several years and has been well cared for by the staff. She was in two facilities prior to Oakridge and wasn't happy with either, but she has never had a complaint since she moved to Oakridge. Her health improved quite a bit when she moved to Oakridge as a result of the improved care. The staff are pleasant, helpful, and patient and seem to genuinely care about the residents. They have nice public spaces and a lovely private room where we've celebrated her birthday with the family. They have a full schedule of activities and good food. They also have a beautiful
