Hennis Exteriors was established in 1985 by Mike Hennis, soon after graduating from college. Mike Hennis, owner, has a long history of roofing that started along side his father as he worked for his father's roofing company prior to going to college. The Hennis name itself has a name in the roofing business, as two of Mike's brothers also have their own roofing companies.
The business began with focusing on small task such as repairs and flashing work. Mike knew the key to a successful business was a sound reputation so he made a concious effort to do things right with the highest level of workmanship. Building on this reputation, Hennis Exteriors went from being known for quality repairs and flashing work to a company to call on for new construction and replacement roofing.

Hennis Exteriors installed a new roof on our home and detached garage in 1.75 days. They showed up early both days and worked continuously and efficiently throughout. They tore off the old roof down to the sheeting. They picked up each and every scrap of material. They guarded all our many plants and shrubs so that NO damage was done to any of them. Except for the new roofing and gutter screens you would not know they had been here.

I build high end custom homes - Minton Homes LLC. We are incredibly picky with who we let work on our homes. Hennis does outstanding work. Their workers are. Very conscientious and care about what they do.
Excellent workmanship at a fair price. Cheapest in town - no, but best value for the money if you want a quality job - yes. Jake is excellent to work with. Second generation roofer. He's very good with follow up and delivering on his promises. Hennis is our favorite roofing contractor and one of our favorite subs. We highly recommend them.

Jake and his team did a fantastic job replacing our roof. Jake is super responsive first and foremost. They were prompt, efficient (finished in 7 hours), and meticulous. We haven't found any reminants of anything whatsoever. Jake called later in the day to make sure we were pleased. This is how customer service should work! Thanks again to all of you. Cannot say enough great things about this company and specifically Jacob Hennis. We just had a new roof, sky lights, and gutters replaced and his team did an amazing job. They showed up promptly at 6:45 am and we were completed by that afternoon. They were beyond friendly and thankful that we had hired them to do the job. I was also completely shocked how well they cleaned up. They spent probably 30 + minutes with each worker walking the yard and driveway with magnetic rollers and left my house like they had not even been here. I will be recommending them to everyone I know as well as to the Handyman

Had a roof and gutter replacement completed today and have been beyond impressed. Communication from Jacob Hennis has been great throughout. The process start to finish was great, and seeing the finished product has been wonderful. They took extra precaution in protecting the home and there was not one single piece of debris to be found around the house. Will definitely recommend.
