Dr. Elliott B. Black, III, is a board-certified plastic surgeon. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University (LSU) Medical School in New Orleans. Dr. Black completed his internship at Hermann Hospital at the University of Texas. He did his residency in general surgery and his fellowship in plastic surgery at LSU Health Science Center.
Dr. Summer Black is a highly respected plastic and reconstructive surgeon. She is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is fellowship-trained in Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Black Is skilled in all types of cosmetic surgery including facelifts, blepharoplasties, breast implant placement, breast implant removal and revisions, abdominoplasty, liposuction, and other body contouring procedures.

Dr . Black is one of the best plastic surgeons I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. She is always available to answer questions , or help you in anyway possible. I had a excellent experience in July when I had a explant operation ! I don’t have a visible scar which I thought would be impossible! Dr. Summer Black is a true artist as a surgeon! Dr. Summer Black, Dr. Elliot Black, and their team are all amazing! They truly care about their patients. Dr. S. Black gave me her honest opinion about the cosmetic procedure I wanted and told me she didn't even think I needed the surgery. You hear this alot, but my husband and I feel like we made lifelong friends. My surgery was all I could ever hope for. the entire staff rocks! I had my upper and lower lids done. Dr. Summer Black and Dr. Elliot Black are totally trustworthy. Pain is minimal. Peggy Plant has is who I saw first. She was all about putting me at ease and making me laugh too. I went in for a consult because I had questions and concerns about my 17-year-old implants (put in by another surgeon). Dr. Summer Black was freaking *amazing*! I had my breast implants explanted on 1/24/19 I can’t begin to explain how extremely nervous and anxious I was. Dr.Summer Black was amazing. She saw me just as I was being brought into surgery. I felt so much better after talking with her for a few seconds. Explant went well. She’s been available to answer any questions my husband and I have!! It’s always good to have a Dr you can trust.

Dr. Summer Black in my opinion is one of the best plastic surgeons. I went to several over the years to find the person I felt comfortable with and trusted after 4 years I met her on a Monday and had surgery on a Wednesday. Her staff is amazing, her work is amazing (not only for surgeries but also Botox and fillers), her office is efficient you never have to wait in waiting room more than 2 to 3 minutes even as busy as she is.
