Mr. Rakeman built a good loyal customer base and to this day we still have our customers call us for service and stating how they use to know Fred Rakeman. In the 1970's Rakeman Home Repair was acquired by Bob Lange.

I called Rakeman because my toilet was leaking water at the base. They got me scheduled for the next day. The plumber arrived on time and was professional. The plumber changed the wax ring and reinstalled the toilet. He checked to make sure there was no leaks before he left. We haven't had any problems since. I would recommend Rakeman Plumbing to anyone in need of a good plumbing company.

These guys are awesome. After a water heater install from this company.I wanted to find out why the pilot shut down on brand new water heater and get a quote. An old guy came from the company and looked at it and lite the pilot burner. So one would think maybe this is simple task and cost efficient around. I got an bill in the mail from a collections company for $172 to basically light a gas stove. I drove to rakeman plumbing myself and asked what was going on. I paid the $172 to light a gas stove. Talk about knowing right from wrong. I would of lite it for free and asked more business references

Do not use this company, they will not do the work that is needed and will steal your money. Do not ever give them or anyone your credit card before the work is done. They did not complete the work but still billed for work that was not done. Save yourself the headache and use a credible plumber because these are not professional plumbers by any means.

This company is sooo unprofessional, the lady that answer the phone in the plumbing department ALL WAYS have a attitude!! I called them on Wednesday for a quote and I still don’t have anything on Friday! I tried calling and the lady with the attitude answers the phone of course unprofessional with an attitude saying she can help me. They are a bad look for the compnay 100% if it was my money I would go else where but it’s the owners money. Smh

Rakeman has been my number one choice since day one. I am a project coordinator for Titan Solar power and if i ever need a contractor to do any work for our Local Office or Customers home they are my go too! I was referred to Rakeman by a neighbor who had extensive work done as part of a water leak remediation project.
My neighbor referred me to Rocky - I called Rakeman, spoke with a very nice person, Rhonda, who told me that Rocky would call back.
I waited a few days and never heard anything from Rocky. I called again, Rhonda told me that he was very busy, but she would give him the message and I should hear from him.
I never heard from Rocky or anyone else from Rakeman. I understand if they are too busy to discuss new business, but a professional company should at least have someone return a call

Rakeman was hired to run a camera down an old sewer line under house built in 1942 I had under contract to purchase in old Henderson. The plumber with Rakeman was very knowledgeable, could easily determine where main sewer line was and the configuration of an addition including plumbing, probably built in the 70's. The camera showed us the old cast iron 4" line under old, original house was cracked, had serious root growth inside and appeared to be collapsed. That inexpensive inspection saved me many thousands of dollars of potential sewer main repair under house, including ripping

Used Rakeman Plumbing in 2013 to have tub installed . Called last week for same job. I was told 116 hr + 1/2 hr that's fine , then told will schedule next week however give me your credit card now. I complained , no call back. In this instance Rakeman should have scheduled a time and taken c.c. no problem. DOES NOT SEEM LIKE SAME ONWERSHIP AS THE RAKEMAN OF OLD. PS. FOUND BETTER PLUMBER.

We were told last year by a different AC company that our AC would not last through this next year and we would need to replace it.
My husband decided to call Rakeman plumbing at the recommendation of our family. They came out last week before we started using our AC and they replaced a part that was going out and said we would be good to go....no new AC needed!

While we were gone for the holidays, our hot water conked out. Our neighbor saw the water running out from the garage. Fortunately, Rakeman Plumbing sent a crew out that very day and replaced our hot water heater by that afternoon. The installation work was very professional. The work area was completely clean when we returned.

Hot water heater went out and was under warranty still and was given Rakeman as a point of contact who honors warranties. I couldn't get through reading off the first three letters of serial number before the sloppy communicator on the other side interrupts me to proudly announce this type of water heater is not something they will service....smh...I needed it replaced not services; but it was obvious this company isn't looking to provide the best service.

I was so impressed with the whole process from the beginning. I had a leak in my front yard from old pipes. The ladies at the office were so polite and informative which helped reduce my stress. They sent JR to assist me and got me a quote the same day. JR walked me through all my options. Two days later JR and Darnell came, fixed the issue, and completed the job in one day! Both gentleman were on time, professional, and did a fabulous job!!! The best part was what I paid was what they quoted to me. No hidden fees.

Eric was nothing short of amazing! This gentleman showed up in a mask, addressed all my concerns and was very friendly and professional! There were a few issues as far as garbage disposal, low pressure toilet and clogged sink. The work was done quickly and adequately with great customer service. Eric stated the best resolution was a new toilet, a second gentleman Carey, also wearing a mask, showed up with a new one in less than 30 minutes to install to resolve all issues the first time!
I'm giving them 5 stars because that's all that's allowed! Great job guys!

115 degrees and second day in our new home and air stopped cooling properly. Joseph Grande was sent out to fix it and for 2+ hours he worked non stop to find the problem which turned out to be several issues. Joseph was efficient, professional, and did not stop working until the air conditioner was working to it's best productivity. Highly recommend. Thank you Joseph for making our move cooler!

My husband and I who are firm believers in "don't fix it if ain't broke" philosophy stayed our ground until this year when a slab leak happened. We then decided to have the repipe done.

We spent a lot of time researching via the internet. We live in California so it is difficult to find local people
