This was our first time in St. Michaels and this inn provided a great experience for our getaway. Being on the water only enhances the town's charm, and by staying in the suite we had a nice balcony to ourselves with marina-front views and a short 1/2 mile walk to the town. We were in the Captain's suite and it provided us with a bedroom and separate living room, with a big Jacuzzi tub right off the living room separated by a long sliding door if privacy was wanted, and a full bath off the bedroom. The inn itself wasn't a 5-star luxurious hotel and the decor isn't pretending to be modern, but it

St. Michaels harbor Inn is absolutely amazing. My husband and I come here often for a getaway and we never want to leave. I took him for his 30th birthday and we got the captain suite. Speechless. It was amazing. The staff, the rooms and all around vibe are immaculate. We used the shuttle service which was very helpful! We also did the sunset cruise I highly recommend that through Patriot Cruises. Unbelievable experience. Captain Brian is the best!! Cannot wait to come back to the Harbor Inn!

!!!ALERT!!! Don't let these 5 star reviews fool you! This place is not worth your money!!! Before I list my complaints, I will say the staff is amazing. But that is the ONLY good thing.
The hotel is outdated, dirty and the food is greasy and taste like food you can get from any fried chicken shack - but at a MUCH higher cost. We rented a high price Admiral Room at almost $800 per night (without taxes!!!) and it was anything but top class. The view was great but that is where it stopped. For starters, the hotel's décor is stuck in the early 2000s at best. The carpet flooring is overly worn and

What a lovely space in a lovely place. The rooms are spacious and charmingly decorated in nautical themes. The shuttle service to town is handy to leave your car and just explore the town.the staff were so friendly and welcoming on a busy Friday evening! Morning coffee on the balcony is the icing on the cake...

Although we have stayed at this hotel many times over the years, after our experience last weekend we won't stay here again. The facility is well located and offers excellent views, but it comes across as shabby and out of date, with spotty service and an argumentative and ineffective front desk management staff. During our two-night stay (September 2021) we never did get access to WiFi in our room, even though it worked fine in the hallway and outside on our patio. The front desk first told me it was a known problem--when I asked for another room with WiFi access I was told there were none

Hotel was excellent. Clean room. Loved our balcony and the view! Staff was friendly. Don't waste your money at the hotel breakfast though. Husband ordered a sausage and cheese omelette ($12) and literally a small (liquid) egg folded in half, with sausage tossed on top and literally 5 peices of sprinkled cheese on top. Nothing inside. So gross, not worth your money. Not sure how a hotel of this caliber could sell that. Spa was great! Had a wonderful massage and staff was great there too.

After visiting here multiple times to see friends, I finally decided to stay myself. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Absolutely loved our bartender Alex. The room was very cozy with an amazing view. Eveeything in the area was within walking distance. The only downside was the price and all of the fees. Other than that we enjoyed our stay

Very much enjoyed our 3-day, 2-night stay at the SM Harbour Inn. Room was clean and very comfortable. The staff members were always friendly and helpful. The Inn is conveniently located to the village and right on the harbor. We took advantage of the free shuttle on several occasions to take us to restaurants etc. And the restaurant in the Inn was extremely nice, with friendly staff and great food.

The view was breathtaking from our our balcony room and the square footage was a plus, aside from that there are no other positives to this experience.
The room is very outdated and the bathroom was awful, shower curtain was full of mildew, the shower had black mildew stains all over the floor, black striped vertical stains on the mirrors and the toilet had similar stains in the bowl. Carpeting was stained, faded and not fully vacuumed. It felt so unclean that we left early this morning because we just weren't comfortable showering there.
The lobby, elevator and hallway carpets were dirty

To start with the positive- the view is breathtaking! It's the reason I chose this hotel, despite the conflicting reviews and boy I wish I stayed elsewhere and just had dinner at one of the restaurants across the street. Other positives- the driver service is great and very handy.
I can't express how disappointed I was with this place. Our rooms decor and feel was eh. The lack of attention to detail was mind blowing. When we first got to our room the bathroom wasn't completely cleaned (used soap left behind in tub), but I thought there was dirt on the floor too, but it's just

We paid for a 2 night stay and left after one night. The food was awful.. im suprised that I can get better crabcakes in baltimore than here. Very bland seafood. Burger was good. View was nice the first night but was quickly skewed due to boats docking right outside our room, which also made for very little privacy. Breakfast was just as bad as dinner. The swimming pool was right next to where the outside seating for the restaurant was, so we didn't even feel comfortable swimming because we didnt want to be near a bunch of people eating. There was also nothing to do in town other than shop

With beautiful views of the water, this Inn has it all! We decided to visit the quaint St. Michaels Island over the weekend and we are so glad we did. We stayed at St. Michaels Harbour Inn. We rented the "Captains Suite", which had one bedroom with a door to the patio and a living area, also with a sliding glass door to the patio. The suite overlooked the majestic harbour. There was a separate sitting area next to a small bathroom. The room was nice, but nothing I would consider to be spectacular. The Inn has its own "driver", who drove guests wherever they wanted to go

Stayed at Harbour Inn for Oyster fest 2019, our third year and last. The Inn is looking tired and run down. All the small little perks have been stopped cookies at check in (my husbands favorite), no free breakfast although they still advertise it they booking.com. Our room has wallpaper that was peeling, very dusty, baseboards have not had a good cleaning for years. The front desk staff were cold and when questioned about why breakfast was not included as stated in reservation argued with us that we were wrong and I had it in writing. Than I was overcharged by over 500.00 and had to write a letter

We stayed Sunday through Tuesday this week. This was our first trip to the area so we took a shot with the Harbour Inn. The location is good if you don't want to be in the hustle and bustle of town and don't mind a short walk to the shops and restaurants. It took us about 10 minutes each way, though they offer a free shuttle or bikes if you prefer. Our driver was great and very accommodating. We mostly enjoyed walking the route to town, which runs along the harbor and surrounding neighborhood.

St. Michaels Harbour Inn has 52 rooms & suites, so it is sizable without being overwhelming. The amenities are standard for a 3-star (breakfast, van service within town, outdoor pool, lounge areas, WiFi), and, in addition, the free bicycle rentals is a very cute touch for this area. There is a photo of a gym here on Yelp, but I didn't inquire when there. With all the outdoor activities, you don't need it. They have a bar, restaurant, and gift shop. NOTE that breakfast will no longer be included come April 2019.

We received a gift card to this hotel but they didn't allow us to book any rooms for a single night (multiple night bookings only) because it was their peak season. When I asked when their off season was, the response was "it depends". So we decided to make the day of it and go there for lunch and explore the town. We made reservations for noon on a Saturday but when we arrived, there was no staff to be seen. No hostess, no bartender, no waitress. The front desk in the hotel assured us that staff would be around to help us eventually. And after about 10 minutes, a waitress came along

This was our 3rd annual visit. VERY disappointed . Room 319 was a nice corner room. After 1st night and got NO sleep. The bed sagged in the middle, the fishing boats were outside our room & motors woke us up At 3:30, along with dogs barking on dock . The breakfast is no longer complimentary but $12. & we didn't bother eating there our 2nd morning . The bikes are crappy, seat spins while riding, tires wobble & bring reflective gear with you if you ride at night. It's pretty dark on the streets

Stayed here one night with my boyfriend. We treated ourself to the ocean-view jacuzzi king suite which came to a total of $300. The room was decent sized but did not include any renovations or anything fancy. It was pretty basic. The jacuzzi was nice but a little small for two people. I think the room was overpriced and next time would prefer to stay somewhere else. The hotel is right on the water which provides you with a beautiful view.
The hotel provides complimentary breakfast which is nice. We ate outside on the patio and had good service.
As for check in, we were not able to check into

The Inn is located in the charming town of St. Michael's. I think the inn is a special place with some execution issues. However, it has a lot of potential. The inn itself is nice, if a bit run down. My wife and I looked at each room carefully before booking and based on the photos decided on the the skipjack suite. The reason we picked it is because we had dreams of sipping coffee by a fire in the morning. We tried to turn on the fireplace on our first night and couldn't. We immediately went to the phone to call the front desk but there was no directory anywhere near the phone or in

Nice location. Hotel staff very friendly, and they have bikes to ride for free. Maybe should have tried a room with a water view, cause the basic room is pretty rough. Pretty old and minimal. Bathroom need renovated. Old tile, cracked sink, etc. If you want plush comfort, don't go with basic room.
We called to make reservation and they said they won't do anything less than 3 nights. We then went online and booked one night only on their website. This is kinda shady to customers.
Will stay somewhere else next visit.
