As a young girl, I followed my father around with a camera. He had a love for landscape photography and I shadowed his footsteps seeing the magic and the beauty in the high mountain peaks, rolling hills, to waterfalls, rivers and high mountain lakes. I learned to listen to the tranquil beauty of nature and the silent synergy of the countryside around us.
You are almost done with your pregnancy and about to welcome the most precious gift in the world! I love working with expectant moms and documenting the beautiful baby belly as it represents the love and essence of the new addition to your family. It's priceless! There is nothing like getting those perfect shots that emulate the purity and sweetness of a curled up sleeping baby. It's an honor when Aimee is invited to be a part of your growing family by documenting this special time. Their newness lasts only a short while. As a mother of two boys I know those first two weeks are too quickly forgotten.
The first few months are a whirlwind, bonding with your baby, while trying to get enough sleep. After 3 months it's more than eat, sleep and repeat. Milestone sessions are meant to document these remarkable changes and preserve these memories that happen during your baby's first year. I create these fun images with vintage inspired outfits, fabrics, and simple backdrops for an indoor or outdoor sessions (weather permitting).
