Services
Most families with children choose a pediatrician for their overall health care needs through their developing years. Pediatric dentists fill this same crucial role in oral health medicine. All dentists receive similar training and must earn an undergraduate degree and attend four years of dental school where they receive either a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD).
We are also in network with other insurance plans, not listed, through the above carriers. Feel free to call us and we can check for you. If we are not, however, credentialed with your insurance provider, check with your plan to see if it includes out of network benefits. If this is not included in your plan, we are happy to work with you for payment.
Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, high-quality dental care. We understand that your child may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to children's needs and it is our goal to make your child feel comfortable visiting our practice while providing the best care possible.
If your child has injured their teeth or gums, bring them to our pediatric dental office for emergency dental care. We offer treatments for several problems, including teeth that have been knocked out, chipped teeth, damaged gum tissue, items trapped between teeth, and severe toothaches. Call our office, (719) 631-6136, if your child needs emergency dental care.
Some children are given nitrous oxide/oxygen, or what you may know as laughing gas, to relax them for their dental treatment. Nitrous oxide/oxygen is a blend of two gases, oxygen and nitrous oxide. Nitrous oxide/oxygen is given through a small breathing mask which is placed over the child's nose, allowing them to relax, but without putting them to sleep.

I honestly love them. Every single staff member was a joy to be around. Miguel, and Dr Chris did an amazing job with my 6 year old who has anxiety due to past dentist practices at another place.
My 2 year old also got a quick check up and cleaning and the process was smooth and she did great because of their gentle ways.

They were absolutely amazing with my 5 yr old daughter! She was nervous when she walked in because she hadn't been in a very long time and when she left she was cheerful and happy and can't wait to go back! There facility was very clean and organized and everyone there was very cheerful and understanding of my situation with not having dental yet. Thankfully they take care credit! We will definitely be going back!🥰

This place is amazing! The entire staff is so friendly and fun, it is obvious that they love what they do!! Both of my children love it here, my 4 year old tells me she can’t wait to go back and she just got 3 cavities filled! Dr. Chris Johnson was very gentle during her procedure and my daughter didn’t experience even the slightest bit of discomfort. The dental hygienists are super fun and make my children feel very comfortable.

Very clean and friendly. My kids feel comfortable and so do I. They were very understanding that I didn’t want the fluoride treatment and I didn’t have to have a long discussion like I had with other dentists. Even though that my kids only had check ups and cleaning I am sure they do an amazing job with all they do. 100% HAPPY

We love this place! My daughter had a bad experience with her old dentist and she would get anxiety everytime I'd mention going to the dentist. We found this place and they have been amazing. The staff was able to put my daughter at ease and she has had a great experience and she no longer gets anxiety going to the dentist.

My family cannot speak highly enough about Imagine Kids Dentistry. Since our first visit every member of the staff put our toddler at ease. She had multiple root canals not long after her second birthday. The amount of comfort, education and empathy shared; far exceeded our expectations. We feel incredibly lucky to have found this practice for our daughter.

This dentist is absolutely hands down the best for my kids! Dr. Chris is so smart, patient and great with my girls! The facility is clean and beautiful. The front desk staff is friendly and they have a tv in the front area that keeps my kids busy while they wait as well as while they're getting worked on! We LOVE this dentist!

I just had my son seen at Imagine kids Dentistry as a new patient. The receptionist was very helpful with scheduling and emailing me the registration paperwork prior to our appointment. Miguel was very kind and informative while working with my son (who is 4) to feel more comfortable.The Dr was also very informative and caring. I also liked that the environment was very clean, kid friendly, and inviting.

The whole team is friendly, professional, and take the time to educate on how to really care for your kids’ teeth, so that they won’t have to have unnecessary dental issues later in life. Dr Johnson is the best dentist our family has ever had hands down. Miguel is a-m-a-ZING!!! He also speaks Spanish, which is great! The entire team is really the best, and I give then a 10 out of 10, and highly recommend them.
