The teachers are wonderful but you are bound to a one-year contract and if your child isn’t motivated to go there is little you can do about it. I would not, under any circumstances, sign up for a one-year commitment. What they’ll say is that you need to make that kind of commitment to see the benefits but the reality is that kids can’t be forced to go if they don’t want to go. Of course my son promised he would go, but reality is different. I'm wondering why I was never told about the "yellow belt" several months ago when you knew I was having an issue to get my son to go. Beyond the great instruction at this gym, the instructors here give lots of attention to safely carrying and storing your equipment when not using it in class, not using your skills outside of class to achieve selfish goals, and health precautions related to the spread of COVID19 inside their facility.

This school and all the instructors are absolutely AMAZING! They had the perfect balance of patience and firmness to help bring my once super shy girl with anxiety disorder to a strong, confident student with her eyes on continuous improvement. At the same time, both her and her sister (also a student here) have clearly grown and become more caring, team oriented and disciplined in all areas of their life. We have been a part of the CMA family for the past 5yrs. All 3 of our kids are now enrolled and learning so much from all the instructors. Amazing staff, great program, and so powerful with helping the kids with setting goals, and motivation to become black belts!!
